Does the figure being made in his debut DX attire eliminate that look from being made as an Elite? Is there a precedent for an attire being completely reused in different lines?
Also, has Mattel ever addressed the possibility of a Syxx fig?

Many figures have been made in both forms. Both recent Seth Rollins elites ( 52 and TNF) were also in series 73 and Summerslam series. HBK had WM12 in entrance greats as a basic and in elite WM 33 series. etc.
The issue would be how many figures theyre willing to do of him. They did the elite in green, the basic in red, and the 123 Kid elite. It would be nice to get one that could wear sunglasses and not have the tongue out.
I think the issue with Syxx is Waltman owns that character, so they have to pay him to use it.

Excellent, thanks for the info.
Syxx may remain a pipe dream, but I'd settle for a closed-mouth elite Pac.

I'm still holding on to faint hope that we'll get an Elite of him in his Summerslam 99 attire.
And since a Syxx seems unlikely I hope we can get a nwo 2002 version.

They could do that red and black version with a Dx shirt and euro title and I'd buy it as an elite.

I don't know about you guys, but the TNF X-Pac basic is wearing an nWo shirt at my house.

I've always thought Syxx would be a great RSC exclusive...

There's been a lot of basic versions of elites recently. Macho King, Diesel, Warrior, Andre & DiBiase, Dusty

It's possible and it definitely happens, but I'd rather get another X-Pac outfit if he gets another elite. Maybe the black/white/orange that he was wearing around the time he was teaming with Kane.

I think I'd most like this attire, as with an nWo shirt thrown on him he'd also serve as a passable Syxx.

A Syxx to go with the other nWo figs is a must.

I doubt we're ever getting another X-Pac elite. Which sucks because the one we got is my least favorite DX attire. I'm still holding out hope for a 2002 nWo Pac.
Syxx is probably still on the table, especially since we got a 123 Kid. So I imagine separate gimmicks are on the table. I really want some more nWo figs. And some nWo shirts that aren't that sleeveless cutoff nonsense we've gotten every time after the Giant.

Take it with a grain of salt, but I believe it. Not really having any high expections, but I'd like to see some WCW guys they have the rights to Lex Luger, Syxx, jeans DDP, Red and black madness Macho, a proper '98 Sting with a wider torso and accurate boots, Billy Kidman etc Don't get your hopes up to see a Syxx at SDCC. As of two weeks ago when I asked him about this exact figure, Sean Waltman said there is NO Syxx in the works, as he actually owns the trademark on Syxx and Mattel won't make a Syxx figure unless they pay HIM more for the rights.
