I've been the biggest fan of his and think everyone who says he's not good enough to be a main eventer is full of crap. However, I think he clearly has veteran status, and they can slip in him into the main event picture at any time (perhaps if the flavor of the month gets injured). I think he deserves more. He's dedicated and is undoubtedly talented. It's just a shame WWE prioritizes the new and shiny NXT talent over him.

If dolph had a short hair cut and used the zig zag instead of the superkick still, would he have ever been called HBK-lite?
Honestly? I don't think anyone can answer that question yes honestly.
Fans have judged him unfairly in my opinion. Every time he's given the ball he's done a great job and the crowd just doesn't react. Which you could say is partly on him, but there are times when a wrestler can't connect with the crowd because quite honestly, the crowd sucks sometimes. It's happened with Reigns, Balor, and Ziggler. They hit all the points that fans claim to want, and they still dont want anything to do with them

It's that something you can't describe, teach, or learn. You either have it or don't. In like 2010-2013, Ziggler had "it". In 2011 they often had him working 2 or 3 matches a night. Then he finally won the big one, got hurt (not his fault he almost got decapitated), and just want the same. He seemed to take on this attitude of expecting things to be given to him. And he whined and complained and just gave off a defeated vibe when he didn't get a push. When he was good, he wasn't given anything. He made the most of any tv time he had and got himself over. Now, he just doesn't seem to care.

I like Dolph. But he's done all he can it looks like. He will do great outside WWE.

In 2014 in particular It look liked him and Ryback could have been stars but they never stuck with them. At this point Dolph should definitely take a break from wrestling

Ziggler shouldn't have started copying HBK. The "perfection/show off" gimmick was fine. I haven't taken Ziggler serious since he started wearing tights and doing the superkick.

I gave up on him a couple of years ago. He's never moving up the card at this point, it belongs to a new crop of talent.
His time should have been 2013. He and a couple of other guys like Ryback and Cesaro should really have been propelled up into the main event around that time and would be carriers of the brands now and helping to establish other guys. Sadly, Ziggler slid into obscurity and Ryback left. Thankfully, Cesaro carved out a spot for himself as a tag team specialist.

Dolph did this to himself.. I have zero sympathy for Dolph and really look forward to the day he's no longer with the company.. Dude needs to go find himself.. Take the Cody Rhodes route.

Obviously I'm a fan. The guy has had a great career and has done almost everything you can do besides have a solid run with the belt. Bad timing with the injury made his first real reign get cut short. Was white hot after survivor series but lack properly booking him after that put and end to any chance. I truly believe if given the chance dolph could have a good run with the wwe championship. He just needs someone behind the scenes to have that faith in him. But it's probably too late in the game for that to happen.

Who? Oh you mean that one jobber that looks kind of like a chiseled longer haired version of Ellsworth?

Just like Orton he has been mailing it in for years now, and it shows. I don't particularly blame him, but that's why I don't care and would prefer to never see either of them again.

Yea, but does he really?
Look, I've always been a Ziggler fan. Dude can go when motivated. But he has been given countless opportunities where his own personal attitude has overweighted his popularity. He only resigned for money. He is obviously on the decline. I don't know what else he could deserve.

When someone is red hot multiple times in his career and has the rug pulled from underneath him or is given horrible storylines to work with and creative puts the blame on you for not getting it over. Yeah I would stop caring too. Look at nakamura. The guy was red hot coming out of nxt. Then he was put in a series of terrible feuds and Vince is saying he isn't getting over. If it weren't for HHH pulling for him I'm sure he would be in an even worse spot. If you don't have someone that believes in you it's almost like you have no shot. Yeah ziggler doesn't care. But it took a lot of stuff happening to him to give him that attitude. Rhodes was in the same situation. Ziggler should just leave and show what he is capable of when WWE creative isn't holding you back.

There's an idea, why not just send Dolph down to NXT. Not as a demotion but as a place and time to get his "smile back" so to speak. NXT is full sail about in ring ability and is more of an "indy" crowd anyways. He could find some passion again and even add a little more star power to the brand seeing as most guys still need built up down there before the next raid that I'm sure is coming soon.

Deserves better? Why are they not paying him? He is paid to go out and perform. And as long as he is getting paid then he has gotten what he deserves.
