Ok this may seem dumb, but I am confused a little. My question is do the arms on the new basics and females only move up and down at the shoulder (vertically) and no longer outward (horizontally)? Like for instance can you still do cloth lines and suplexs or are they really like the TTL up and down just with the elbow swivel.
If any one has detailed pictures or a video of the new arm movements please add them so we can put all these speculations to rest. Thank you.

watch the videos Ringside posts. They move the same at the shoulder, they just moved the bicep swivel down to the elbow.

I really wish someone on youtube would give us a comparison video that goes through the articulation differences so I don't have to buy any new basics myself.

Why do you need a video? Instead of having the arm swivel under the shoulder. It now swivels at the elbow. So now the elbows do both swivel and hinge. There's really no difference in the arms range of motion. They will do the same poses the old arms did. Meaning if you wanted to have his hands in front of him instead of rotating the upper arm sideways and bending the arms at the elbows to put their forearms and hand in front now all you do is bend the elbow and rotate the elbow swivel. If you have a 6" Star Wars Black figure just look at their arms and it's the same thing.
