I received a TRU holiday book in the mail today and on the WWE page there’s nothing about the AJ being the Big Book promotion. There is someth No about a Nakamura POP. Here’s a couple pics of both pages.   |

When was the last time there was a big book proportion anyways? It's just another Network Spotlight figure.
The last time there was a big book promotion was like 2013.

Bill said last year the Roman was the big book promotion but it also wasn't in the catalog. The last time they actually did the freebie was The streak Brock I believe.

I think either the "Seth cashes in" or the John Cena debut figure was a big book promotion figure. Was that last year or '15? Then the two previous years was the short haired Triple H and the 21-0 Undertaker. And wasn't there a Brock that was the Big Book promotion the year he beat Taker? Plus Bill said at SDCC that AJ would be the Big Book figure...but unless there's another TRU book coming out in a couple weeks. This one didn't say "Big Book", but rather "Naughty is not an Option TRU The Ultimate Guide to Play"

I saw about 12 AJs yesterday in Glens Falls, it's a network spotlight, I don't think it's tied to any promotion.

I don't see TRU doing 2 AJ figures and I think the Rollins and Cena we're just Network Spotlight figures before they called the line Network Spotlight

Not sure about Cena (were they the same year?) As for AJ I wasn'tsaying two AJ's but rather two books, because this book wasn't called "Big Book" and the Big Book usually doesn't come out until November. This was the book that came in the mail today-  |

This is the 3rd year that there is no free figure. The Rollins and Cena were just exclusives for the year who happened to get released around the time the book came out.

Slightly off topic but today I got the Kmart Toybook. I'm surprised they made one this year since they no longer make weekly ads. Anyways nothing special inside. They do have a new 3pk that I've never heard of from here. It's hall, Nash,& Sting. Their all re releases  |

Yeah, I got mine yesterday morning, but then the catalog came in the mail last night and it didn't say anything about the AJ being in it. I was planning on doing what I did every year which was buy the figure when I see it, because it is always put out before the promotion and gone by the time the promotion starts. So every year I buy it first. Then once the promotion starts if they don't have the figure anymore I have them adjust my old receipt (have them do a return) then add it to my new order so I get it for free. Been doing it that way since the first basic HBK, because once they put the figure out T0y W!z buys them all when they see it. |
