I recently picked up the E47 Goldust figure. I absolutely love the figure, but the shoulders seem to be way too large for the body. The arms move forward and backward without issue, but any attempts to lift the arms out to the side feels like the bicep is about to break. I've tried heating the figure in hot water to loosen it up, but it hasn't budged. Just looking at the figure, it seems like the shoulder joint is too large to have any mobility, ala Elite Rhyno.
Is the full range of motion even possible on this figure? And if so, any other suggestions for loosening up the joints?

You might have to get the water near boiling to loosen up the shoulders.

They used Taker's whole arms for that figure. The arms imo look way too long and I wish Mattel would of just made a heavier shirt torso. They keep using these small shirted torsos for guys who aren't thin. It works for modern goldust, but 90s goldust? Nope. I sadly passed on the figure and hope Mattel releases a 2003ish one, with a vinyl or pleather robe.

Thanks. I did a couple headswaps at the same time, but I don't think the water had reached a full boil yet. I'll give it another try at a boil.
