I was at my local Walmart and was talking to the guy stocking the toys. I had told him I missed out on finding a few figures they had recently got in. He tells me no worries, all I have to do is go up to the service desk and they would order more ?? He told me if a Walmart gets in sets of figures and I ever miss out, all you have to do is bring a figure from that set up to the service desk and ask them to reorder another set. They also will give you a time frame for when it would arrive. Not sure if this works with stores like target for hall of fame, but it would be helpful.

How would this work for TNF? Would I need a specific figure from a wave or just any TNF figure?

Sounds cool - but I'm skeptical. My cousin has been a manager at Walmart (multiple different stores) for many years, so I asked him. For what it's worth he laughed (well, typed LOL in a message to me) and said no.

I heard of that. A friend of mine used to do it with ML and DCUC when he was living in Wisconsin.

It also depends on the worker. Most walmart employees don't get paid enough to give a crap.

There is always a crazy long line At the service counter at mine first of all. Second the people who work at mine get paid around minimum wage and work like it. I wouldn't even waste my time. It's pretty cool if it works rhough

They did it for me in seabrook new Hampshire for series 2 retro today.
Epping NH did it for series 52. I want shamrock and dlo, I just hopefully will be there when they get them in again.
If you want a certain series it has to be in that store. It doesn't matter if Walmart in the next town got them, but the store your in. If series 52 was in stock, and you missed out on Braun, then they will order the whole set. The only thing is you still have to be there when they stock the sheld again.

I’ll use this if TNF ever hits my Walmart and I miss Elizabeth.

They might say they will order them but I highly doubt they do. Its inventory hell by doing this. One person wants figure A so they ask for the set to be reordered. Well then figure B comes in and someone buys it...So someone goes to the counter and asks for figure B to be ordered....well now you have multiples of figures C, D, E and F on the shelf. Its not gonna happen.

Well it got me thinking. You ever see the stores that are over loaded with certain figures, like the Apollo one from the series with beefcake and enzo. I'm thinking it's possible that is why they are like that. I will know if this work if this week seabrook gets the sets of retro and epping gets in elite 52 again. They might say they will order them but I highly doubt they do. Its inventory hell by doing this. One person wants figure A so they ask for the set to be reordered. My friend would have them reorder waves and they would hold them and call him when they got them back in stock. That's how he got the WalMart exclusive DCUC waves (series 5 & 10)

That’s not how it works. They can’t order a specific set of Elites, or Basics, or Battle Packs. They are an assortment item, meaning each set is tied to the same numbers. So if they they have Elite series 51 in stock and you miss the AJ Styles figure and get them to order more, the warehouse will send whatever series of Elites that they have. It could be the same series or it could be the next set, or even a previous set, to them its just a cardboard box with Elite figures inside but no specific series number.
Now as far as Hall of Fame and TNF, it may be easier to get a specific series as new sets aren’t released as frequently as Elites or Basics. They still can’t order a specific set, but since there’s a longer timeframe between sets getting released you have a better chance of getting the same series. But I know when some stores were getting Hall of Fame series 3 other stores were getting cases of series 2, so that’s not always the case.

They can’t order a specific series, unless it’s exclusive to them or has a different assortment number. You can have them reorder, but it might not be the same series.
