I want to hear everyone's plans for tonight? Do you have any Halloween traditions? Personally I feel that Halloween is the best Holiday. I've never gone to work on Halloween. More recently I always take a week or two off on vacation for Halloween. I used to be into going to all the haunted houses in the area but since my son was born I look for family friendly events to attend. I always take him trick or treating to malls and then afterwards we go get pizza. Happy Halloween everyone!

Gonna be lazy and stay on the couch. Most kids do the "Trunk or Treat" in my area. Happy Halloween to all. Have fun!

I have to work at my 2nd job. I deliver pizza & with all the trick or treaters out, it takes a bit longer to do deliveries. And giving me a piece of Halloween candy does not count as a tip. Stingy b*stards.

Halloween isn't big where I live so, absolutely nothing. Just another day. May bump into Spiderman while on my way to the grocery store but that's about it.

I live 20 minutes from Salem Mass where it is always a crazy night on Halloween. Its a big deal all around me too. I have two elementary school age kids so we have been going trick or treating for about 10 years now. The neighborhoods can get pretty wild with little kids running uncontrollably but it only lasts about an hour or so. Tonight is great but it's sad when it's done. I absolutely love September and October

I had my fun earlier by going to bars and clubs for the Halloween weekend. I don’t get trick or treaters, hence I live in a woodys area. Tonight I’ll kick back enjoy a few brews and watch a couple horror movies, hoping to find a clean stream of the new Saw “Jigsaw”. For a snack I’ll be having a bowl or 2 of count chocula or boo berry, I always buy like 5 boxes of each since it only comes out during this time.

Halloween died with the whole trunk or treat stuff where people dont go door to door any more. On top of that a few years ago they started doing it on weekends so kids/people that work didnt have to be up late. It just pretty much became a complete cluster . Thanks Obama

Get this- tonight a woman came into the pizzeria where I work & told us she saw a group of about 4 or 5 kids dressed in ghillie suits crawling across the road in the neighborhood where she lives.
I really think each generation is getting stupider & stupider.

I just spooked the out of a kid trick or treating in a power ranger costume. This is what I do now.

Is it just my area or is trick or treating completely dead? I live on a main road and we used to get kids all the time but last year we had 0 show up and none again tonight.

You know what is freaking weird? Halloween here in the UK and with adults seems to be a bigger deal each year. But the last couple of years when I have taken my son out trick or treating, I see less and less kids running around. Is Halloween not cool any more, I still think it is or am I just out of touch? No it is not me it is the children that are wrong! Even my own son was not super excited to go this year, I swear he ended up going just to humor me!

I don't think the cool factor is lost, it is just this extra safety conscious society has pushed it into less free roaming areas like "trunk or treat," civic centers, or just going to houses of people you know. A bit of the fun was taken out of it if kids aren't just running around crazy with other kids in the neighborhood.

I didn’t do anything, I’m going through some crap with my girlfriend so I wasn’t in the spirit. Work has also been really stressful. I’m not anti Halloween in general though.
