I just find it extremely laughable that the OP seriously doesn't think extremely unprofessional behaviour should result in someone losing their job. How the OP is disputing that negative social media comments results in job loss is absolutely hilarious! In any job if you're found making unprofessional comments in regards to your job, chances are you could be let go. If you're employed by a company, you're a representative of that company and should not be found willingly representing the company in such an unprofessional way.
And no, anyone with leaked images should not have been released either, for reasons somebody has already explained perfectly. They're two entirely different matters.
In my view, he really doesn't deserve to have his job and I'm surprised they didn't release him. To mock a co-worker for losing their job is just extremely unprofessional behaviour. More than that, it's just flat-out disrespectful and grossly immature. The fact that he didn't think it was a bad idea in the first place just shows how immature he is, and clearly isn't ready to represent the company anytime soon.

That wasn't an insult. I would expect if someone has a job, they would be aware of policies that their words can affect their job status. It's pretty common knowledge. Not all jobs are that serious and it's not common knowledge. I'm majoring in business and I'm very aware of it. If WWE was going to fire Lio Rush over a comment then they should of fired Paige, Seth Rollins, Xavier Woods, Kaitlyn and JoJo for their R rated photos that got leaked. So everyone who's keep saying WWE should of fired Lio Rush for the comment because it can ruin the company's reputation. Yeah you can throw that out the window, because you are wrong. None of those people posted those photos/videos online themselves. They were hacked and put online without their consent. Also Kaitlyn doesn’t even work for them anymore so not like they can do anything about that anyways.

He screwed up and got busted for it. Not a fan of him and wouldn't be bothered if he got let go either. He should realise he's not in a position to comment on anybody 2 mins after being signed. He should be glad it's not the old days with JBL around to haze him!

You're nuts, OP. Lio basically said " HAHA You lost your Job" to Emma. that is completely unprofessional.

Lio Rush is a scrub who is now best known as the guy who no sold a powerbomb off a ladder and taking a picture with Topanga. Rosa Mendes has contributed more to the business than him, so he shouldn’t be making fun of anyone losing their job when he’s lucky to have one in the first place.

It's called having respect. A lot of people need to learn what that means. The world would be far better off if they did.
That's the end of my old man rant.

It was a boneheaded thing to say to begin with. Who in their right mind would think there would be positive feedback or laughter when you make a joke about someone losing their job? He’s going to have an uphill battle at this point.

- WWE is a publically traded company. - WWE has a universal fan base. - WWE has a public image and all their employees represent it.
He made a public comment about a fellow employee of 6 years losing their job and he's literally been a WWE employee since August. If he can't respect the people he works with, he shouldn't have the job. End of story.

Remember how just several weeks ago Enzo had Nuclear heat on him for disrespecting nearly the entire locker room and they turn around and made him a two-time Cruiserweight champ? The precedent was set for Lio. This really isn't that big of a deal.
We're living in the overexposure sensitive ages where we can see what everyone says and does and want an immediate apology or more to make us feel satisfied.

I thought his joke was pretty funny. Someone WWE let go and an employee used it as a way to put Asuka over.
I never saw the problem with it

I didn't find the joke funny but some people really are petty. Bray Wyatt talking about wolves. Lay off the pot man.

TBH Lio Rush's first NXT match was more entertaining than Rosa's whole career.

I was listening to an interview with Tazz yesterday, where he said (from what he understood) that not only is Rush in the dog house because of the original tweet, but also for the fact that how he closed his apology out with "on behalf of myself and the WWE". It's looked at like this guy is 22, has been with the company only since July and has attempted to publicly assign himself as a figure speaking for the entire company.

Enzo is a guy that has been signed with the company for 5 years, and while he has the reputation he's gotten lately, has show value as a character. Lio has been there for less than half a year, and at the moment, when it comes to those in charge, hasn't shown value to the company. Wrong or right, the mentality of a guy getting crap for acting like he's 'part of the locker room' when he's yet to have proven he belongs, is something that's been in WWE for a long time, and that seems to be the greatest 'sin' that he's committed with this whole mess. And I'm sure when he pulled that no sell in his last match in CZW, he probably annoyed some people with that.

Enzo gets a pass at being disrespectful because he's been with the company for five years and has some sort of value? It shouldn't matter the length you've been with a company or your value, being disrespectful is being disrespectful. Lio shouldn't get a pass at being disrespectful because he hasn't been with the company that long and it was towards someone the community likes? Fair and balanced.
