I know this has been discussed ad nauseum on here so I figured we'd get some clarification on the Ringside Fest Q&A. After watching the video though, I didn't hear anything about the continuation (or lack thereof) of the Hall Of Fame line.
Maybe I missed it, or it was covered elsewhere at RSF but can anyone clarify whether this line is continuing or not and if the distribution issues have been resolved? Also, were any of the figures shown at RSF (like Dude Love) confirmed as being part of this line? Thanks to anyone who can shed some light!

I assume the Hall of Champions line (I think that’s what it’s called) is taking over from the HOF line as that’s a target exclusive but that’s not confirmed
I just can’t see target stocking both HOF and HOC as exclusives

Yea I'm pretty sure HOC is replacing it, so they aren't limiting it to the same guys over and over again who can sell. Now it can just be pretty much any champion ever.

Ya I was really looking forward to getting Paul Bearer in the 6th wave as it was rumored along with Dude Love

The move from HOF to HOC is a huge win in my eyes. a) it opens up the series to include a larger roster of figures b) the series will get a new DCPI and the Titos will be put on clearance c) even with the distribution issues and slower sales on HOF 2 and 4 packs, Target still wanted to carry a flashback-only line as a store exclusive
I do hope Bill finds a spot for Bearer and Steamboat in a line somewhere this year.

Plus if every figure comes with belts, that should help the sell through on the HoC line as well. So if they did a Tito in dark red trunks he would have the IC belt and hopefully move alittlle faster. Only draw back is all the belts that will get stolen, but Target is at least good at checking stuff like that, and then discounting the price.

Its still pretty limited though isnt it ... I mean not as much as hof, and there has been a hell of a lot of champions, and you can do Ecw champions, and they seem to be testing some waters with Wcw belts. It's a lot more than HOF at this point.

Its still pretty limited though isnt it ... I hated the hall of fame limitation, but the champion one doesn't bother me. Almost every notable wrestler has held a championship belt in one wrestling organization at a point in their career. The only limitations would probably be on non-champion gimmicks or attires which were not associated with a championship belt. Hopefully these figures will all come with belts in future waves and I want all the wcw belts asap.
