How can Cena represent a brand if he's dual branded? He debuted on Smackdown, his career took its rise on Smackdown. It makes sense but it shouldn't have been announced over Twitter

Yeah Jinder should have been added to the Smackdown team if anything after losing the title at least it would have given him something to do

I'm calling Braun & Cena as the final two. I never realised how much I want a Braun/Cena match until now. If Braun wins, of course.

I dont mind this I'm not a huge Cena fan but if he doesn't have many more big PPVs left I'll take what we get.

Clearly Big Match John absolutely hated that one month on RAW and has decided to come back to SmackDown where he always good times.

Like I was saying in the SS thread, this just further cements the silliness of the whole brand warfare thing. Cena's last appearance was on Raw, and he's a free agent, so there's literally no reason for him to have brand loyalty or to give a single crap about this whole thing.
With that being said, this is a boost to a Smackdown team that looked pretty weak in comparison to Raw, and also a boost in match quality, considering Jinder seemed like the obvious choice for the final spot.
Given that Cena was penciled in to referee the Lesnar/Mahal match, it makes you wonder which idea Vince had first - moving Cena to the tag match, or putting the belt on AJ.
In any case, the card is stronger without Mahal on it.
