Would have been really nice if they had announced this on an actual show. They are starving for content to fill time on these shows but they give away big stuff on social media.

This pretty much ensures that AJ walks into SS as Champion since the rumored "plan" was to get Cena as the ref for Jinder v. Lesnar (with the theory being Cena is a free agent so can be impartial). With Cena busy, AJ can face Lesnar one on one.
Jinder is left off the card? Possibly to interfere? Possibly for other reasons?
Regardless, if this ensures AJ is champion through Survivor Series, I won't complain.

From what I remember Cena said something along the lines of his years in wwe are numbered so he will move between raw and smackdown.
From that stand point it works, but when its brand warfare and Cena represents WWE as a whole, its odd that he's wrestling for team smackdown. IMO Jinder Mahal should have been added to the match, from world champion to not even on the card within the space of 3 weeks kinda sucks for him.
