According to PWInsider.com, Rockstar Spud will be signing with WWE once his visa paperwork is finished being processed. As previously noted, the current plan is for Spud to be part of the WWE cruiserweight division.
Um, great? I'll be honest, everytime I've seen him, he just came off annoying, and the possibility of Spud and Enzo feuding over the Cruiserweight Title just makes me shake my head.

I love Spud, His Hair vs Hair Match with EC3 ranks with my top 10 Impact matches of all time.

Wait a minute! We get a post saying the WWE released Austin Aries and immediately afterwards a post saying they are signing Rockstar Spud?
What is wrong with them?!?!?
Spud is comedy relief at best, a smaller version of Ellsworth. I swear if we get Enzo vs Spud in a never ending feud for the Cruiserweight title I will never watch 205 Live.

I never enjoyed anything he was involved in. Bad signing, more circus acts.

I'm open to this. He seems talented, so hopefully they can give him a new, good gimmick to work with.

I dig it. I thought he did his job well in whatever role they had him in.

Good for him. Met him and he's a nice guy but not sure how it will work out.

As one of the few people here who likes Spud apparently... cool. Spud & EC3 were amazing together.

Put the strap on him." "Uhh, which strap?" "All of them!"

Wow!! I might, maybe, finally be able to get a Rockstar Spud action figure!! I have always liked Spud, especially when he first debuted. WWE needs to give him back the rocker, bad boy look and image he started with, not the nerdy bowtie he ended with.

Yeah, why not. 205 needs personality, and Spud always seemed to have plenty.

It’s disappointing that Impact seemingly isn’t in a position to keep more than the very top of its roster.
However, good for Spud and WWE! He’s certainly got charisma. Really, his work on Impact was never uninteresting. He’ll positively contribute to WWE TV.

Why does WWE keep signing all these TNA rejects?! ...Because Impact takes their rejects...most of the time.
