I’ve seen people around the forum (including myself) having problems with HOF Roddy Piper’s kilt staying fastened. With that said, I made this thread so if someone finds a solution, they can post it here so everyone having this problem can see.
Any ideas?

I haven't done it yet but I am thinking of using those clear rubber bands they use on figure and wrap it around the top of the kilt just under the belt line.

Yeah, I used the clear gumband. But I used a smaller one than PJ. Mine only wrapped around once...  |

Yeah I only had that stretched out one left in a box that hadn’t made it to the curb yet. Once I pick up another figure that has one hopefully it won’t be stretched out and I will use that one.

When Target gets them in stock, I'll probably just put a cloth kilt on him. Easy fix.

Amazing looking figure None of these guys are HOF worthy, Barbarian never got a flashback, unless you mean John Nord. Look man, stores that are big enough to afford exclusives don't want second or third tier figs. They want big household names. So they will sell. And make money. Exclusives are more demanding for Mattel because they want to keep their big retailers happy... |

Mine was crazy messed up when I opened it yesterday. One peg want fastened or near the hole at all and the other was bent inwards behind the home instead of in the hole. I've had it completely fastened for over a full day now and hoping if I leave it that way it will naturally fix itself.

I think the best Piper one could have would be the T-shirt series Basic torso, The HOF head & Kilt, and one of those sweet old fashion microphones that come with Mean Gene. Because without the bunched up cloth shirt, the kilt fits better. This is one instance I would have loved an Elite molded shirt.
I thought about doing it, but Piper was the only Basic in a sea of Elites. So my OCD is enjoying having this new elite Piper for a change.
