www.wwe.com/article/wwe-205-live-live-event-ticketsWWE 205 Live to hold three special live events in January The Cruiserweight division is ready to fly high and drop jaws as WWE 205 Live holds three special events in January. Don’t miss your chance to see Enzo Amore, Kalisto, Gentleman Jack Gallagher and all your favorite Superstars at 205 pounds and under in action three days in a row. Friday, Jan. 19, 2018 – Kingston, RI – The Ryan Center Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018 – Lowell, MA – Lowell Auditorium Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018 – Poughkeepsie, NY – Mid Hudson Civic Center Tickets for each event go on sale Friday, Dec. 8, at 10 a.m. EST It seems like they're testing not having 205 Live be after Smackdown. It could turn out great for the show if people who are actually there for the cruiserweights are more into the show.

There's nobody on the 205 Live roster that I would pay to see.

I'd love to see this do well enough that they can air it on another night. I think immediately after NXT would be ideal.
Book a ladder match for the main event the first night. Something that will entice people to watch.
Expect to see Itami debut either on or right before those events.
I also have a suspicion that Neville may return by then. I expect it to happen next week during the match to determine the new number one contender.
Glad to hear Jack Gallagher getting some love in those announcements. Just wish he was still a face.

So they send out emails asking people why you're not watching 205 live, then they decide its doing well enough to start attempting their own shows.
There's no way this ends well, as stated above theres no one on 205 live id pay money to see, if this were during or immediately after the CWC I would have said yes but every single talent on 205 live has been ruined in some shape or form since then.

I hope these shows do well but I just can't see it happening. No offence to the 205 guys but I wouldn't buy a ticket to see their show.

This is going to be a tough sell even with Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Hideo Itami, and the UK guys...guessing Balor/Breeze/Woods join to sell tickets?

If I lived near these shows I'd buy tickets in a heartbeat.

Why?
We have time dedicated to not watching them on Raw, and an entire show to not watch them on on the Network.... now let’s throw in live shows that have a snowballs chance of selling out.

As much as i want them to succeed with this, i doubt they'll sell out. If the Smackdown shows are getting low attendance, imagine how low attendance these events will get

To those who have been to live events since they've started the cruiserweight division back up,
Do they not travel with the main rosters? Have they performed with the main rosters? How many cruiserweight matches do they normally do during a live event?
I ask because that makes more sense than this.

Meh, I live in Poughkeepsie, NY but 7:30pm on a Sunday is a bad time. Gotta go to work the next day. Maybe if it was 1pm or even 4pm. But I'm not goin to go to a 205 only show at 7:30pm on a Sunday night with work the next day.

Man... I feel bad for those guys. There isn't the star power to fill any one of those buildings, and that Rhode Island show in particular is probably going to be incredibly embarrassing for them because it's such a big building. Even at 3000 seats, I see this as a major reach on WWE's part. I hope I'm totally wrong, but the fanbase just doesn't seem to exist for something like this on their own.
I guess if the roster gets a big makeover in the next 30 days I might feel differently, but as it stands, just tough. Gargano, Itami, Bate and Dunne would help immensely. All of those guys together would be worth the price of admission for me. So maybe that's part of the plan.

I report to work at 8am, but I also have an almost 2 year old son and I need to put him to bed around 8pm every night. Stuff at night just doesn't work for me. I go to Yankees games over the summer, but only the 1:05pm games, because barring extra innings which I can't stay for, I get home for dinner and his bed time.

It’s more the father/son thing, not so much work in the morning. Makes sense.
