Theres no sign of TJ Perkins or Virgil here in the UK at Toys R Us stores. Is this going to be ANOTHER case of UK collectors having to buy from secondary market? If so this is getting very expensive and worrying.

We’ve had TJP, I got mine a good few months ago, but we definitely got them in smaller quantities than previous characters. We haven’t had AJ yet though
No idea about Virgil though, I don’t think he’s technically a Spotlight figure is he?

Virgil isn’t a Network Spotlight figure. He was a Limited release Exclusive FB shared between TRU NYCC booth (Which they never had at the Con) and TRU.

My Toys R Us never got TJ, and you're right about Virgil, even though hes not a spotlight figures he's still a Toys R Us exclusive.

Did you ever find out why they didnt have it at the con? Thats very poor business from Mattel, makes no sense. They should be called out on these things.

Toys R Us' UK website has TJ Perkins featured, not for delivery, but he's available. This is just poor speculation that because the stores you've been to didn't have it that means your country is changing its habits without an official word. Look at the Post photos here of the Mattel WWE sections where you shop thread, if everyone made threads like these based upon their stores 80% of these threads would assume that Mattel stopped making Elite figures after E39.

My wife asked the day she went, but the woman was rude. Then my brother in law asked the three days he went, but they never had it. They did tell my wife she could order it online

TJP was in abundance, I'm hoping the AJ comes soon.

TJP was definitely available here... seemed to be in much smaller numbers than previous NS figures though. Virgil (and Isaac Yankem) weren't NS figures or available here. Looking at the news today, I'd be more worried about UK TRU stores actually staying open... the end might be near.

I read somewhere that Toys R Us plans on closing a bunch of it's stores in the UK. That could be the reason for low stock on certain items.

My TRU is in the middle of Pennsylvania and it hasn't restocked jack squat in months. When they get an exclusive, I order online.

If so this is getting very expensive and worrying. Virgil was never going to be available here it’s the same situation as Yankem TJ Perkins was readily available and a very popular figure. So to answer your question we will always get Network Spotlight figs until potentially Toys R Us say bye bye but your other exclusives, Virgil, Yankems and it was the same with Debut Cena and Seth Cashses in, we most likely won’t see that kind of fig so buy online as soon as you get chance

I’d also like to add that it makes sense that we haven’t seen as much of the newer spotlight figs, TJP and Dean as I would imagine TRU have learnt from the previous releases that a lot do shelf warm
I think the only ones I’ve not seen warm are Roman and Michaels

He's got good reason to be worried though. This isn't an isolated issue. Tons of TRUs here in the UK are reducing stock and not getting much new stuff in, literally within a couple of months the whole thing changed from overstock - to bare minimal. It's because of numerous problems, including the price point. Plus now that about 30 stores are closing over here, it means less places will get these in for their final months.

Toys R Us is going to be like Kmart and die slowly. It's painful, but maybe we need this to happen.

I get it and don't deny he has a good reason, but I wasn't particularly crazy with the way the thread was titled and that's what I was more getting towards. It was titled in a way that reads like its a statement being reinforced by being questioned, meaning its like someone stated it and he's questioning what they said opposed to it being asked as a question such as "Are Toys R Us in the UK no longer receiving Elite Spotlight figures?". This is a concern around here because people jump to conclusions or make assumptions or take personal opinions and state them as fact. It certainly wouldn't be uncommon for someone around here to read this thread, then at a later date say something like "well I read on here that TRU UK isn't getting Elite Spotlight figures anymore." I've seen it countless times around here.

I am in Chicago (obviously not the UK) and I am actually surprised at the consistency of the TRU by my work.
Walked in there two days ago and they had about 12 Virgils. I stood there shaking my head saying to myself "These are going to rot here worse than Network Spotlight Vince and Taker."
However, even though some figures are in overabundance, that does not stop the consistent influx of new figures.
