With all of the negativity and bickering going on around here, I thought a little lighter discussion might be good. A lot of my favorite memories as a kid were getting figures for Christmas. Anyone have any holiday figure memories that stick out for you?
For me, it was the one time of year I would get a bunch of figures all at once. My mom would buy figures for months and hold them back until Christmas. It was so cool to have a lot of new wrestlers entering your fed. Christmas of 1997 the figure I wanted the most was the BCA Signature Series Goldust. I had opened all the presents and got a bunch of great figures (Mankind, LOD, Flash Funk), but no Goldust. I was pretty disappointed. My parents had also bought me one of those kids' sports lockers of the Bulls that was set up right next to the tree. I saw the locker, but hadn't opened it. My mom told me to go open it and right at eye level on the shelf inside was Goldust. I went absolutely crazy, and it was by far my favorite figure during my entire figure fed as a kid.
The next year, my parents had been buying figures for months and holding them back for Christmas. I probably hadn't opened a new figure in 6 months. Christmas morning, there was a huge wrapped box in the middle of the living room. If was filled with probably 15 BCA figures, including all of Superstars series 6. It was cool to see that many figures all at once, and probably saved my mom a ton of time wrapping each one individually!

Christmas, 1991, I received WWF Hasbro Series 2 Ultimate Warrior and Rowdy Roddy Piper - the 3rd and 4th wrestling figures I ever owned. Unfortunately, the Ultimate Warrior broke (his fingers were easy to break off) but I still have the Roddy Piper to this day.

The one that pops to mind instantly was Christmas 89 I believe. I got almost the whole 1st set of Hasbros and the ring. I had just turned 6 so you could imagine how awesome it was. There are other great memories like getting LJN or BCA figs, but the Hasbro one was the best.

I remember when I got the Finishing Moves two pack of The Hardy Boyz back in the day. Those were like the best Hardy figures I had at the time. Aside from the crazy hair pose, I really liked how Matt had the blonde in his hair, and how colorful Jeff’s hair was, plus he had a Hardy Boyz t-shirt!

This one year, I was looking online everywhere for a decent price on the Jakks Deluxe Classic Rock and Austin figures. I loved the deluxe aggression series and never owned a figure of The two wrestlers. I gave up and to my surprise, that Christmas(mid 2000's?) i saw that "Santa" had gotten me the Real Scale Ring Elimination Chamber. I was opening it up to build it and as I dumped out the pieces, there they were. Austin and the Rock. I hugged "santa" I knew they costed a pretty Penny. Till this day,I get excited thinking about it.

For me, I received a few LJN figures during Christmas of 1988, which was my favorite:
Sheik/Volkoff Tag Team Pack w/belts Don Muraco Jimmy Hart Elizabeth Mean Gene
I also received an LJN Thumb Wrestler pack with Big John Studd and Paul Orndorff, which completed that set for me.

Probably a little early for Hasbros as I recall 1990 being the first year they were available I may be wrong but I’m sure that’s the year I got some

I never played with wrestling figures growing up. But 4 years ago when buying Xmas presents for my son I started buying him wwe action figures and I started looking all over the internet for figures I had missed out on to build his collection, and that’s when I found this place.

Christmas 97. I had just started getting back into wrestling thanks to my cousin, and got BCA Mankind, Vader, Michaels, and Bret. Might have been my favorite Christmas. Also got a Sega, the McFarland Kiss figures, and bendable Beavis and Butt Head figures.

I actually asked for them again for this years Christmas.

I guess 2000 would be the year, but it was when TTL was at its peak. I was 10. But I got whatever set it was, in Smackdown packaging. Kurt Angle, Triple H, Kane in inverted gear, ABA Undertaker. Edge and Christian and APA 2 packs. Also the first Too Cool figures. I had already gotten Rikishi prior. Man what an awesome Christmas

Not really a gift story, but was something I'll always remember.
Can't remember the year, but I was in the TRU in Hickory, NC, on Dec. 23, and bought an old "Bone Crunchin'" Stone Cold Steve Austin figure. I already had the figure, but they were having a big sale, so I figured... How can you have too many Stone Cold figures.
Anyway, after the figure was rung up, I couldn't help but laugh at the total... With the sale percentage taken off and sales tax added, the grand total for that Austin figure was exactly...
$3.16!!
Austin $3.16 was alive and well that day!!
I displayed that receipt with my Austin figures until the damn ink faded completely off the thing!
Kick-ass coincidence.

My favorite Holiday figure memory would have to be when I got the Toys R US Real Sounds Arena. It came with a Randy Orton and Batista and at the time, it was the best ring playset that I had! I had no use for the figures since I had plenty of Ortons and Batistas lying around. What made this a memorable gift was the other two figures I got....the Adrenaline 14 Muhammad Hassan and Daivari two-pack and Ruthless Aggresion 12.5 Eric Bischoff.
Don't get me wrong, I was thrilled to get more figures but it's funny since I'm pretty sure most, if not all kids my age at the time weren't begging their parents (or in my case, my aunt and uncle) for a Muhammad Hassan or an Eric Bischoff.

Can't remember the exact year but it had to be early 90's I got a pile of Hasbro and Galoob(guess thats how to spell it the WCW figures) my dad was a huge wrestling fan and he kept looking at each figure and played with me so that made me think they was the coolest thing now since he's been gone about 10 years I think about that Christmas every time I buy my nephew a figure or buy myself a Sting or anybody else from the early 90' that I had then.

Hmmm, I remember one year when I was probably 9 or 10 I got a bunch of WWF Jakks but I don't recall which ones they were. It's not a figure, but I remember the Christmas of 2000 getting WWF No Mercy for the N64 and never ever putting down the controller.

My parents would let me pick out figures at TRU and they would put them underneath the tree unwrapped for me to stare at until Christmas. Opening all of them (Hasbro at the time) was great.
