Would that have been the biggest pop of all time if it was closed roof at Mania? It was massive as it was, but imagine with a closed roof the difference it would have made.

It might have been if it was inside.

No, I don't think it would have.
To this day the loudest pop I ever heard was when Austin's music hit during Rock vs. Mankind on Raw when Mankind won the WWE Title in January 1999.

It was an unreal pop. One of my favourites is backlash 2000. Austin returning to help the rock. Absolutely amazing

No pop or ovation will ever measure the Canadian Stampede one. Everyone in attendance said the building shook.

Dolph Cashing In is a other wild one. A pop I was disappointed with was WM30’s main event triple threat. Didn’t get a chance to watch the match live to decided to check it out on the network for the crowd reaction. Maybe the shock from Taker loosing earlier had some impact

i was there at mania and it was an incredible moment, the whole stadium felt like it was moving! gotta say though that I always think of the Austin pop during the rock mankind match mentioned above as the biggest but the roof may have made the difference

I’ve never seen a pop like the Hardyz return the highlight of the show.
Zigglers was pretty insane

I agree 100%, nothing will ever top this. Everything about that moment was just so perfect. Nothing will ever top a Stone Cold pop from when he was at the height of his popularity, IMO.

The 1-2-3 would have been insane

The roof would've fallen off. The Hardy Boyz deserved every bit of the ovation.

Was lucky enough to be at Mania for Hardy’s return. I’m not usually a guy who yells or cheers much at live events. Been to a stack of NBA games I clap, but do much else(just my nature I guess), same with WEE events (only been to one in the US, Australian crowds suck, we get told to sit down at concerts)
Hardy’s return however, I screamed like a little schoolgirl (as my wife puts it) it’s funny, it was rumoured that they would be returning, so it was very much a combination of anticipation and surprise. Certainly the loudest ‘pop’ I have ever heard. Although I saw Kobe twice at Staples in his last season, when he was introduced that place went bananas. Hardy’s still has it covered...

As far as WM pop's, I thought that when the glass shattered at WM32, it was even louder.
