I'll just respectfully disagree. At least Wyatt can wrestle. how bout this: Alexa doesn't run booking. She just does what's she's booked to do.

Laughable.
Jinder was a great champion. The only thing wrong with his reign was you people refusing to give it a chance, despite his clear improvement both as an in-ring competitor and character.

Bayley, This is Your Life was feces, but that was just one segment. Jinder Mahal as WWE World Champion dragged on for 6 months with him cutting the same boring promo every week and Smackdown arenas being more empty than the Impact Zone. 2 house shows in India were more important to the company than their weekly TV show on USA Network and the end result was one of those house shows getting cancelled due to low ticket sales and Jinder Mahal jobbing to HHH. Really, though...I get it. I understand wanting to try to jump on board in India. Seriously stop and think about it. The population of India is over 1.2 billion people. That's literally 17% of the entire population of the world in one country. Viewership for the January 8th Raw was 2.7 million. That's the same population as the city of Kanpur...which is the TWELFTH most populous city in India. You know what other city has 2.7 million people? Chicago. That's the THIRD most populous city in the USA. No reason not to take the shot when you're talking about that many potential customers. Yeah, I suppose if the WWE thinks that since India has 4x the population of the US, they will get 4x the ratings.

The only major issue I had with Jinder as champion was how fast they rushed it. He was losing to Mojo one week and a week (maybe two) later was number one contender. Had they actually paced themselves and given the fans a reason to care, I think he'd have been considerably better off.
IMO the worst thing this year was the Bray/Orton WM match. The whole build was s**t. The moment AJ lost the title to Cena, only for Cena to lose it two weeks later, we should have known we were in trouble. But from there we got Randy burning down Bray's dead sisters shack. A weird on again off again thing with Harper. The stupid projections in the ring. And Bray looking like a b*tch.
Now that I think of it, Bray had the worst year of anyone. Hell, Paige had a better 2017 than Bray. He put a doily on his head and talked like Alvin & the Chipmunks. How do you get worse than that?

Sorry, Mahal was the best heel of 2017, an the best heel champion run of 2017. He looks like a million buvks, and his wrestling had a nostalgic feel to it. #Mahal4Life Miz was the best Heel of 2017 by 100 miles

Mahal had legit heat gor being in a unearned spot. I understand wrestling is subjective, but for my personal 2017 pick, Mahal gets underdog of 2017, most success of 2017, best Champion of 2017, and best heel of 2017.

To be fair, it was a boring year storyline wise, but at the same time, there wasn't a lot of truly horrendous stuff going on. Nothing to the level of the gooker or the Yetay

I don't think the Jinder experiment failed as much as people believe. The guy got legit heat and made people hate him. That was his job as the evil foreigner. You can say it's boring and been do e better before many times, but it doesn't make it worse than Wyatt in drag. Not even close in my opinion. I disagree that he got heat because of his character. He got go away heat, which means the majority of the fans did not want to see him as champion. Now i had a problem with his push because he went from a jobber to number 1 contender and main champion in an instance. Now i wouldn't have minded a US Title reign, which based on his character, would have made way more sense, and it's giving him a small push that would have led to being taken serious enough for the World Title picture.

He looks like a million buvks, and his wrestling had a nostalgic feel to it. #Mahal4Life Neville and Miz were both light years ahead. I'd have pegged Neville as 2017's MVP until everything went down. If you found him entertaining, that's cool... Honestly no offense is intended, because I too know how it feels to like someone who sucks. I was just as ardent of a Del Rio fan as you are for Mahal.
