I’m just hoping we get the old Nakamura for this match. I mean WWE even doing this match is a miracle but now the expectation sets in since we’ve already seen what these two are like together on a big stage.
I don’t know what Nakamura’s deal has been on the main roster but this is his shot to make us forget all of it and cement his legacy.

If its anything like their WK match, It'll completely level the building. They might go all out New Japan in the WWE ring.

On the mic it won't be that special, but in the ring it will be great.

Many feuds work in NJPW because there aren't many promos or talking outside of doing interviews and press conferences. The feuds have one major point to them. Most feuds work in NJPW because it is really hard to screw them up.
NJPW is not WWE. I love Aj and Nakamura, but doing 5-6 weeks of promos and other content to build a feud to filler up TV time leading up to Mania? Idk if WWE has the creativity to do these guys justice.

I think It'll be a good match but I'm weary of Road Dogg's writing.

Of course it's going to be great. This is not good vs bad, this is two men who want to prove they are the best. They are two amazing workers and the build up and match i feel is going to be match of the night.

It’s AJ Styles vs Nakamura in front of 80,000 people. If you don’t think the match will deliver, I feel bad that you’re that miserable.
If you don’t think Nak vs Styles can deliver WWE can do nothing to appease you.

If they treat this like NJPW did Okada and Omega last year then it could be great. That was the best feud of 2017 yet the two men only met three times. Each match had a must see big match feel and they all delivered. Keep AJ and Shinsuke apart except for promos and staredowns so that we aren't tired of seeing them in the ring either together as tag partners or as opponents in singles or tag matches with screwy non-finishes. The story of the match should be that these are two of the best in the world and you want to see this match but we're making you wait until WM.

The match should be outstanding, providing Nakamura shows up without the usual laziness/disinterest he's had pretty much every night in WWE apart from his NXT debut and one or two matches since then. And even if Nakamura is no better than his usual performances, AJ should still elevate it to something great.
As far as the storyline goes, I think that's gonna depend a lot on Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens doing the heavy lifting.

Nakamura’s inability to talk wasn’t that big of a deal in NXT because he didn’t have to be on TV every week. When he was on TV, guys like Sami, Finn, Joe, and Roode were able to carry the speaking part of the promos and Shinsuke only had to deliver a single one-liner. Being that WM is two months away there is no way they can have AJ carry the promos every week. My guess is that they team up and feud with Sami and Owens for about a month before focusing on each other.

Everyone talks about Nakamura’s laziness on the main roster, but let’s not forget the majority of his time has been spent feuding with really boring opponents in Corbin, Mahal, and Ziggler. Neither Mahal or Corbin work a style that meshs well with Nak and Ziggler was twice as unmotivated as they believe Nak to be. This is really his first chance to truly shine.

It looks like they're gonna go with the tired "respectful competitors who team up and have TENSION" storyline.
Not fun.

Here’s hoping it is. Their match at WK10 was great but but not as much as I would have liked.

The feud will most likely be based on “respect” and crap. Multiple tag matches with tension and accidental hits on each other. The usual.
The feud will be generic. The match itself has MOTY potential. And should close out the show IMO.

On the mic it won't be that special, but in the ring it will be great. They need to keep Nakamura far away from a microphone. And get him Okada's English coach. That guy went from horribly broken English to damn near fluent in like 6 months.

Personally I'm not looking forward to it. I would have much rather seen Balor win the Rumble. I like Styles and I like Nakamura's entrance music, but I really don't see anything he does in the ring all that entertaining. To me his in ring work seems very cartoony and over the top. I feel the same way. I don't see anything that others do in Shinsuke's wrestling ability. He doesn't do anything that stands out to me. He also has been terrible at vervally communicating with the audience, perhaps the worst English-as-a-second-language wrestler in WWE history. The live audiences don't react to anything he says, and the pacing of his promos are awful, there's never even a hint at when he's done talking or if he is pausing, etc.
