The match, or matches, will probably be terrific, but how will Nakamura’s emergent rivalry against AJ play out on weekly television?
Both are babyface characters. Will that bog it down? It would probably be difficult to turn either one with live audiences. But there’re limits to what good guy characters would do to a rival.
Will the duo provide memorable scripted speaking segments? It’s not the forte of either, but AJ’s performed admirably as an actor and public speaker in his WWE tenure.
It’s the first officially announced Wrestlemania feud of the year. Will it impress? Will it live up to expectations?

If people have the expectation that it's going to be as good, or better than their Wrestle Kingdom encounter, they're probably going to wind up disappointed. I suspect it will be a good match, maybe even a great match. Given the way Wrestlemania is booked nowadays, it has a very good chance to steal the show (most AJ Styles matches do.)
Will the feud be good? Who knows. Nakamura hasn't been handled well, but they have a chance to correct course after giving him the Rumble win. Hopefully he becomes a more focused and serious character.

I was wondering this too.
I still say that Styles vs. Balor and Nakamura vs. Orton would have made for two better Wrestlemania matches.

This doesn't need to be a good guy vs bad guy feud. They can have a friendly competitive rivalry to see who's the best. Hopefully they run this like a New Japan feud -- little to no talking, no traditional heel and baby face roles and lots of hard hitting matches.

I’m almost certain most of the buildup to the match will be AJ and Nakamura vs Owens and Zayn.

People with rabies have an irrational fear of water.

I hope they don't oversaturate it personally. I think less is more with these two. Keep 'em away from each other and build it up as a must see.

No, it’s not. But in all seriousness, the fued probably won’t be good and the match all depends on how much freedom Vinny Mac and creative allow them to have. I haven’t seen their WK match so I am really looking forward to this encounter.

Personally I'm not looking forward to it. I would have much rather seen Balor win the Rumble. I like Styles and I like Nakamura's entrance music, but I really don't see anything he does in the ring all that entertaining. To me his in ring work seems very cartoony and over the top.

I hope they go face vs face. They can still tell a brilliant story and it practically writes itself. It'll also be an amazing moment when they face off inthe ring and the crowd is going crazy for both guys.

He’s already begun to show cracks since he won the title. Especially the way he attacked Owens on the stretcher last week.

If they don't have them in a bunch of random tag matches together and random tv matches then possibly.

The feud will mostly be centered around them plus Shane, Bryan and Kami.
If Nakamura doesn't start letting it all hang out and continues to pull back the match won't be very good. He needs to go back to the hard hitting mother f'er he was when he debuted

I honestly think they will tag together and possibly feud with Kami.

Considering how SD has been lately, it's a toss-up. But the match is happening, and will certainly deliver if it gets enough time, so that's what I care about. I really think it would work better if AJ were still a cocky heel, though. The feud will mostly be centered around them plus Shane, Bryan and Kami. If Nakamura doesn't start letting it all hang out and continues to pull back the match won't be very good. He needs to go back to the hard hitting mother f'er he was when he debuted I think a large reason that he is so toned down is because he's mostly been facing guys that aren't used to the harder, stiffer strong style that he is known for. Hooking up with AJ for one or multiple matches would very likely help in that regard.

To be honest, I don't need a "feud". They don't need to have a hatred for each other. I'd be content with just a competitive competition between two people who respect each other.

if they present it with prestige and both men hit the ball that night, then we’re in for a treat.

Yeah, the Kami false tag will be addressed. Then we’ll get Zayn vs Aj, Aj vs Owens, Nak vs Zayn, Nak vs Owens, then Nak and Aj vs Owens and Zayn where if Kami wins they get into the Mania match. They lose, AJ and Nak stare down, and if we’re lucky Kami splits and leads to a match at Mania, where on the SD! side of things we get
AJ vs. Nak
Zayn vs Owens
Ziggler vs Roode Ladder match.
Not too shabby

I just hope they’re given a solid 20-30 minutes to tear the house down. It’s been too long since we’ve had a main roster match that people put in the MOTY discussion. January isn’t even over yet and Jericho/Omega and Almas/Gargano are going to be hard to top
