I got the new GM Foley figure and his feet slightly point down at an angle, so if you put his feet flat to a surface, his body leans back at an angle so he'll fall backwards and he can't stand up straight. Is anyone else's like this?

Same here. Has to be really hunched forward to stand alone without a base.

It’s because Mattel changed the basic articulation with the shoes on suit figures. It’s horrible.

Same issue with mine. The fact that his body is top heavy doesn’t help either.

The new articulation is fine they said You don't need an ankle pivot they said EXACTLY. The legs are horrible on the Rock Rude Flashback (Fink BAF Series) Basic. HORRIBLE. They’re constantly fighting being in this position ( ).

Aye I've found these recent suited figures (D-Bry and Corey in my experience) have had gammy feet and can't stand properly Was considering getting Foley but between poor paint, the possibility of him not being able to stand, the fact I don't need another Steph and the fact they've re-used the Wyatt torso so he has a phantom pocket molded on his breast I decided against it

Yeah mine wants to fall backwards. I just bend him forward. He looks slumped over, but it's kinda realistic because Mick Foley can barely walk in real life.

Yeah I've had several of the newly articulated ankles give me this issue. Balor and aj especially. I know they said it was budget reasons and such, but I still prefer the old articulation to newer

Who signs off on a figure and sees that the feet are pointed down into a fixed pose and says "who cares, good enough"?
The excuse of "it's for kids" doesn't hold wash either because I wouldn't have wanted a non-functional toy as a kid and I hate the insinuation that kids love and deserve crap.

I'll be honest ankle articulation was totally useless on the old figures 99% of the time It'd be useless 99% of the time this time too if they actually did it right, Seth and AJ stand fine for me

They’re constantly fighting being in this position ( ). Who is Rock Rude? Seriously though I have maybe 5 or 6 figures without ankle articulation (Balor, Styles, Jericho, Neville and 2 versions of Seth) and haven’t run into any issues with them standing. But I don’t have any that uses the suit legs.
