I bought some as well. The price tag is really high but I really wanted them. Depending upon the quality, I may get the WCW set if he gets around to releasing them. Pros: - They look awesome. Cons: -$38 for 3 belts -Colors are basically inverted which looks weird. -His early ads made it look like you got 2 tag belts and 2 IC belts -Only accepts Friends and Family via PayPal. The creator of these posts here but I'm unsure of their user name. So far they only have the 2 tag +1 IC on sale but we could be seeing more in the future.        |

Those look phenomenal. I don't think the way the gold is, is an issue. That's how the Hasbro world belt looked. I think the thing is on the IC and Tag, they have a lot less raised area than the WE which makes it look odd at first.
But, I get annoyed though with people that use f/f on paypal to get around fees. Sacrifices security of both parties. I've also known people who have had their paypal accounts revoked for taking too many payments that way.

3D designed and printed with flex filament (flexible specialty filament), which is why it's $38 for 3 belts: flex filament is pretty expensive.
The only designflaw is the globe on the belt, it's inverted: sea is high instead of land.

I had to have a set as well. They're pretty killer. Pricey but they're fantastic.

$38 for 3 belts? Not bad actually, that's $12 for the intercontinental title and $13 for each tag belt. looks great on Razor and Demolition

I'm definitely interested in a set of these. It's the closest we'll ever probably get to belts done in the style of original Hasbro figures. Pretty neat idea.

Hi Everyone,
I'm H-Man (@wrestlingfigureworkshop on FB & Instagram) the Designer / Maker of these Custom Belts. I'm a long term member here and have been posting my work over on the custom thread since 2010. These two belts due to their popularity, are the first custom items I have made available to commission.
Its really interesting finding a thread about your work like this. Thanks for all the feedback, much appreciated!
Here's a few replies based on what I've read on this thread so far:
1) Price... My pricing is fair for the cost and time put into making them. Yes my belts are quite expensive if you compare them to belts made by International Toy Companies. But that in itself is Comparing two very different beasts. They Outsource to a Chinese workforce and produce in very High volumes. I am one man designing and making belts in his spare time in small volumes. Their margins and unit prices compared to mine are going to be massively different, and therefore they'll have a lower RRP.
2) Artwork...Overall i'm happy with the "Hasbro-esque" style i've adopted on these belts, and the reaction to them has been very positive also. I tried the globe on the I.C with the land in gold and the sea recessed in black. Didn't look as good, because you got less surface area of gold, and you need a good balance of the two tones.
3) PayPal ... I'm a U.K based Customiser. So I worked a deal with U.S based Seller Hastteltoy on Instagram & Facebook, to make it easier for U.S & Canadian collectors to pre-order my belts without being hit by PayPal conversion fees and the shipping rates from the UK. This means I deal directly with UK, Europe and rest of the world orders & inquiries.
Personally i use PayPal in the usual way with my customers. The way Hastteltoy does business with his customers on PayPal is his prerogative. I know him to be a very trustworthy seller, with a lot of experience and passion for the hobby / business. I know that if anyone has a problem with their order he will sort it out. I am also always happy to personally help any customer with their order regardless of location.
4) Are more belts coming?... Oh yes!!! Winged eagles, WCW's and more. Just takes a little bit of time, and there's only so much i can do at once! lol.

Nice, the 92' World and Reggie U.S. look great! I hope there'll be tags to go along with them. Also, a BG, Jmar US, Jmar Tag, Cruiser and TV would be neat.

Out of curiosity, have you tried adding any color to these outside of the gold? I'm curious to see what the IC would look like with a blue globe or maybe even playing with the tags to make them look dual plated (silver and gold).

Where were these when I was a kid?  I remember I used the belts from the Galoob WCW figures. I rubbed off the WCE decals (which is probably causing some of you to have a heart attack right now) and with a pen I wrote IC on one as I could not get intercontinental to fit on it. And then I wrote tag on two other belts... that was how I rolled as a kid. |

Those WE set of colored straps look amazing too, can't wait for the others to come out. Will there be colored IC straps too? Not sure how yellow or especially gold would work, but blue and white would look great I assume. |

I agree with Dr. Nick, the colored WWF Wingled Eagle Titles look great. Can't wait to see the finished product, the renderings look great. Would also like to see a White, Blue, Yellow, and Gold IC Titles. One of the main things lacking from the Hasbro line was a lack of title belts. Would have loved if the KOTR ring would have come with the IC and Tag Team Titles to match the World Title that came with the blue rings. Or if Hasbro would have randomly given Mr. Perfect or Bret Hart or Shawn Michaels a IC Title and Legion of Doom or the Nasty Boys or Demolition the Tag Titles. I have always liked the design of the titles from that era 1987-1998, the Wingled Eagle, Intercontinental, and Tag Team titles from that era are still my favorite designs. Since they went back to the classic IC title, I wish WWE would go back to the classic Tag Team titles that the Hart Foundation, Demolition, Legion of Doom, Steiners, etc. wore, it is a much better design the the current belts. I also liked the WCW replacement World Title and their US Title during that period. Don't really like WWE's US title.

I don't even collect Hasbro and/or Retro but thought about buying a set because they remind me of my childhood and how badly I wanted these belts. Great stuff H-Man! Keep it up!

Totally agree, looking back I can't understand why they didn't capitalize on more accessories mainly a blue cage and the other belts. To put the extra belts in with the rings, or with LOD, Demolition, Bret, Shawn, Perfect etc. Even throwing the tags in with a tag team to help boost sales of those figures. I could imagine even the Headshrinkers selling good just to get the tag belts. |

I received my belts and they are incredible! They were $36 for 3 belts+$2 shipping. I have NO issues with the price. Once you see these in hand, you'll be impressed. These absolutely match the look and feel of the original and can't wait for more releases! I'll post pictures of these in a few.
