I've noticed that over time we have seen many different championship belts included with both basic and elite figures.
I know that basics have the non-shiny look although it's the elites that have become a bit confusing.
Why for instance does Mattel nail the current wwe championship with elite 46 sheamus wrestlemania 33 hhh and all shield elites? But yet we get that weird all rubber thing with elite 37 brock.
Another case is the world heavyweight title. Perfect with elite 15 mark henry 22 big show and 13 and 24 dolph. But we get the basic style with elite 10 kane and 17 sheamus.
Whats the deal? Is it budget for that particular series? Does anyone know?
There are other inconsistencies such as european title with shawn michaels elite has old wwe scratch logo whereas d'lo and x-pac have nothing. Just a blank space where the logo should have been.

There are many variations / running changes. Aside from the ones you mentioned, others off the top of my head include:
Undisputed Championship Title Belt has different sizes and finishes.
Winged Eagle Belts have either a black globe or a blue globe.
nWo Belt has different “spray painted” styles.
Purple Intercontinental Championship Title Belt that comes with the Rock or the new one that comes with Rikishi in the Hall of Champions set doesn’t have the words “World Wrestling Entertainment” at the top.
United Stares Championship Title Belts have different sizes and paint apps.
Penny Tags have different shades of bronze.
Although I’m a Championship Title Belt collector, this is the reason why I pass on some. I’m sure there are more that I’m missing. The reason for these changes are unknown to me.

I just find it pointless when Mattel nail the title 1st time round they make negative changes and put it with the next elite figure. In my opinion if the budget for that series means they have to give us a cheaper version of the belt. Why bother? I would prefer if they used the budget for the main elite series on accessories rather than display stands and a cardboard diorama. As we have the far superior stands with entrance greats anyway.

I still don’t get why they don’t add the World Wrestling Entertainment lettering on the oval IC belt anymore

I still don’t get why they don’t add the World Wrestling Entertainment lettering on the oval IC belt anymore They’re official name is just WWE now not World Wrestling Entertainment. It’s about marketing. It’s incredibly dumb but they do it anyway. That’s also why they took the scratch logo off the European belt (which may also save Mattel a couple pennies on white paint) and stopped using it on Flashback boxes after Umaga. That’s why I was surprised they made a Mankind figure literally covered in scratch logos (although WWE ones not WWF)

It is annoying, but it also saves me some money, so I don’t complain about it.

Those belts that came with e37 Brock and TRU Rollins are good for guys with vests like AJ. I have the one that came with Seth on my e51 AJ.

The WWE Divas Title that came with Elite Kelly Kelly was much bigger than the one that came with Elite Paige.

They leave it on some belts (specifically the WWE titles) but even some of those are weird. The US title has it but it’s often applied badly whereas before when they first made the belt it looked better

Same here and also with the text 'world wrestling entertainment' on oval intercontinental.

As long as they don't start blurring it on everything and anything they release on DVD or the network like they used to do with the Attitude Era logo until them and the Panda came to an agreement.

I actually prefer the rubber belt that came with Lesnar and Rollins. It wraps around the figures much more naturally than the belts with bulky plates, not to mention it looks infinitely better when a figure has a vest on with the belt.
