I read somewhere on here that there is a rumored Ricky Steamboat figure upcoming as part of a 3-pack, maybe with Hacksaw and someone else? Does anyone know more about this, specifically if the Steamboat is based on WMIII and an Elite? Or is it just a rerelease of his basic from a while back?

Its in the flashback set after the Heartbreak Hotel if I remember correctly. Its Steamboat in WM3 attire and Duggan with a new scan and couple other guys

Guess I can hold off on purchasing the Basic then. Wonder if we'll get any first-time-in-the-line figures like Mene Gene or Alundra in the first two sets. Crossing my fingers for a Greg Valentine, if it's time period-specific. |

Seems like Mattel is missing the mark on a number of figures nowadays. |

also if the next set is a Piper's Pit one I'd be all over it, especially with Jake, Duggan, and Steamboat being rumored

I know its still early proto stages so I guess in theory it could change but lets be honest....This is Mattel, the think Ron Simmons and Alberto Del Rio have the same body. I don’t have a steamboat figure or a duggan figure so I’m interested in both. A jake Roberts with a shirt and new scan will be cool but I think I might still just rather an all-stars rerelease. ..and I guess I’ll have to buy another Piper. But getting to complete the pit makes it worth it  I can’t wait for this set. I really really hope the new Duggan and Roberts scans look good and I hope it’s king Duggan. |

Duggan is suppose to be King Duggan....havent heard any thing about a Pipers Pit though That'd be sweet. Would help many customizers complete that King Haku (or King Harley Race I suppose), though as I type this I realize that a King Duggan probably wouldn't get the full crown and robe treatment (plus the 2X4) in this line, right? That'd be great if it did, but to expect 3 accessories PLUS the build-a-set part would probably be expecting too much. |
