Yeah... and now Macho isn't available separately either - the only way to get him is to buy the whole set for £60 (so Macho works out at £21!). Great. I'd like to support Wrestling Shop as they're a UK company - but find it very difficult when they pull poop like this... toysandmasks.com have all 4 figures in stock £11.99 each, £3.95 postage. I got my set today. Me too, much better than Wrestling Shop prices. If they were any more than £11.99, I just wouldn't buy them. There's a limit.

Having received series 5 this week I have to say I think Big E is my favourite retro so far. His action is perfect, he’s a power guy and he’s got a power move. His facial expression is goofy like the hasbros, but unlike the Woods it actually looks like him. His gear is bright and colourful, making a change from all the black attire we’ve seen so far (yeah a lot of guys wear black, but some of the figures have come with black attire when there were much more colourful choices available ex. Styles, Rollins, Cena).
For all the negatives people seem to have about this line (not enough legends etc), you have to admit the Big E retro is a great throwback to the Hasbro days, and if they continue in this vein going forward I’ll be very happy.
Of the current guys that should get a retro, I’m hoping for a Rusev.

I've been freaking out about the amount of current guys made over actual retro wrestlers, but I have to say that I do like the New Day retros. They're very colorful and they really stand out considering Mattel is obsessed with putting out wrestlers in black attire. Big E having the slam is awesome. I put a trombone i got from an elite with the Xavier and it looks good. Kofi as a jumper makes sense to me also. Lots of hate for the jumper move from people, but I like it when it makes sense.

I’m just gonna assume these are never actually going to be in stores lol Haha yes! The distribution on these has been a complete mess. In Australia we got the first series everywhere and then series 2 never showed up and most places seem to be ordering series 3 now. 3 series later and we haven't seen 4,5 or 6. It's very disheartening. If they ever get their act together I would actually buy two of each. If this mess continues then I'll only be ordering the earlier era guys they make.

Must be nice to have some hanging on a peg in a store somewhere. Where I'm at in Illinois we saw Series 1 & 2 in Walmarts, Series 3 in a GameStop an hour away and nothing since. In fact, all of Series 1 & 2 have been bought and within a 100 miles in ANY direction, there's ZERO Mattel Retro in any store.
Ugh.

Be on the lookout. The TJ Maxx closest to me actually restocked Series 2 retros. Some in the toy section. One by the cash registers up front. Really good day at my TJ Maxx. Last time only Austin and Rock but this time in addition to five Austins they had one Kane, one Sting and one HHH. picked up all three and now FINALLY completed my Series 2 now that I have Sting too.

Why do Amazon sell the ring and not the figures?

I am ready to give up on seeing anything past series 3 in stores. I have gone to a dozen targets in two different states. Nada. In eight months. Hope this like can find some kind of distribution other than RSC. About done.

Series 4 is hitting with the Target resets. I found 2 of each New Day member at a Target in Carlisle, PA over the weekend.

Hopefully the Retro Ring will be hitting retail stores this month. I remember seeing something about August. I'm just finally getting caught up on all the sets up to Series 3 so I'd like to have a new ring for them now lol. Guessing it will hit Target first.

It's been available on Amazon for ages at $20.99 - pretty good price, no?

Why do retailers lag so far behind on all this? By the time they bother to stock anything, everyone that wants it already bought it online ages ago.

New Day (and Macho) are actually Series 5... it's weird that everywhere seems to be getting them before Series 4 though. Why do retailers lag so far behind on all this? By the time they bother to stock anything, everyone that wants it already bought it online ages ago. Yeah... I remember Smyths here in the UK getting the Series 2 and 3 HOF figures in about 10 months after they'd been released in the US/everywhere else - by then, nearly everyone who wanted the figures had already bought them, so no wonder they had a hard time shifting them. It's a shame too, as I'd love to have seen Series 4 and 5...

Of the current guys that should get a retro, I’m hoping for a Rusev. It’s such a cool figure! I have shared my thoughts on the line having too many dark attires (despite it reflecting the current roster in most cases), so I’ll now say well done for giving us some colourful figures, such as these. They really could be a trio straight from the Hasbro era and they look great with the bright colours. Hopefully a few more like these to come and if they’re legends then even better!
