If it was Roman Reigns, this thread would already be a dozen pages of people demanding he be punished or suspended.
People love and grew up with Jeff, I get that. And I really hope he is in a better mindset these days as he's a childhood favorite for me as well. Guilty until proven innocent is an unfair judgment to cast on anybody. It's just hard to give him the benefit of the doubt anymore when this stuff happens. Prescription meds or not, he should just know better at this point in his life not to put himself in these kind of situations.

This is probably going to the only time I agree with you.

According to TMZ, he crashed his car and blew 3 times the legal limit and was booked on misdemeanor driving while intoxicated. Apparently wwe's statement was that he was responsible for his own actions and they are just awaiting information from law enforcement for their investigation. I just don't see them doing much, very bad choice in Jeff's part to drive like that and could have hurt others, but he's off tv now as is so I figure it will not be addressed. I assume he will be back once he has fully healed

Addiction is not easy to get over and relapses are common though. This is probably going to the only time I agree with you. I definitely agree. It's just that if this kind of thing happens again I don't see WWE being all, "Well, addiction is tough and relapses happen." I know he moves merch, but they seem fine distancing themselves from anybody who creates bad PR for the company. Hopefully this is the only incident.

I watched Matt and Jeff place two empty bottles of Fireball underneath their rental car last summer at a gas station after a house show down the road. My friends and I, who were (at the time) unknowingly parked next to them, felt a little uncomfortable about it, but, it wasn't our business.
For what it's worth, we ended up in the store with them. I didn't approach them, just nodded to Jeff as a "hello" when we passed each other. Others did though, and both were very friendly. Didn't seem intoxicated, but, who knows. The whole thing was weird. They were very careful about looking around before putting it under the car.

Why does he get himself into trouble? Like the comment underneath the article says, he's his own worst enemy.
As a fan of Jeff, I hope it doesn't lead to anything like a release or that the incident was drug related.

The Hardys would’ve been better served staying with Impact, provided Impact wanted to retain them. Jeff was healthier and Matt had a much better TV role.
