Can we finally have some answers from these swindling swines?
I speak on behalf of myself and my fellow collectors, the collectors constitution of concerns are as follows:
We DO NOT care for app features that are increasing the costs of Retro figures.
We DO NOT care for standard elites that are masquerading with a a music box as Entrance Greats, thus increasing the price absurdly.
We DO NOT care for standard elites that are masquerading as Defining Moments thus increasing the price absurdly. Reference, compare early Defining Moments figures to recent releases and see the huge difference in attire. Throwing in some shiny belts as a substitute for quality attires is not acceptable.
I would say these three main points are a legitimate cause of concern for my fellow collectors. We anticipate with restlessness, your response, MDT!

Well you don’t speak for everyone. I love the return of the EG figures. Unfortunately DM’s are no longer a line. And the retro apps are for the kids which are the main audience Mattel is catering to. Collectors are a very small market in Mattel’s eyes.

while I agree to a point...I also simply dont care. If Mattel wants to price me out of their stuff so be it. Ill go from collecting everything to picking a choosing.

The only time I've felt ripped off by Mattel is when they put Jinder in the ring Bundle.
Dude was WWE champion for half a year, and they stuck him in a $120 bundle with a ring that lost people don't need

I think EG is pretty alright all things considered, then again I like the music box gimmick and Roode looks to justify the price IMO. The only grievance I have is the oversized box which is pretty wasteful
I don't collect Retros so I don't have a horse in that race
DMs are in the same boat as EG for me, there are a few duds like GAB Sting or Ultimate Maniacs Warrior but the line for the most part was solid both in its original and new incarnation.

Only time I've felt ripped off was when MY HOC RIKISHI CAME WITH ONE ELBOW PAD. YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO FIND A FIGURE WITH THAT EXACT PAD FOR A DECENT PRICE? Yes I know it's kinda stupid, but if I pay full price I expect the full figure.

Some of lines like the app things aren't for me, so I don't really mind them. What does piss me off is when when they release a figure that would sell well as a ringside exclusive and then cheap out on it. The dx Shawn Michaels is regular elite line worthy figure alone. The lack of kneepads, right colors on the Xs and inaccurate headscan take away from it evening feeling like an exclusive. What you're really paying for is the box... and limited production run... detail wise? Not there. I'd rather Shawn not come with his entrance gear and have a minimal box had it been like I stated above. Same thing goes for figures like the entrance greats Kurt, it's a subpar figure. The fact that it's Kurt and a first time release Mattel knows that they could get away with not giving him a new mold as well as putting him in the line because people will buy it. I'd rather Mattel start correcting the issues with the more expensive lines, bring out new molds and stop cheapening out on details like kneepads etc..
