I wonder if this frees up FAO Shwartz back into the market. Now that was a toy store.

It would be cool to see them come back but I hate they are all in the malls

I'm fine with anything that gets us another toy store. Let's bring back KB!

Well, this should at least be something to watch for. I'll believe it when I see it, but it looks like the company does have some history of resurrecting past brands. Although developing a product to sell is a completely different animal than starting up a chain of stores. At this point, any toy store is a good toy store. Should be interesting to see if any major manufacturers are willing to work with them or if it becomes more of a niche shop.

Please make it happen. KB was a bigger part of my life than TRU. Mostly because it was a walk or bike ride away compared to my TRU, which was a little over 20 mile away.

Ill believe it when I see it, but malls across America from New York to LA to Mall of America, have plenty of space available.

Not to be a Debbie downer but what keeps them from meeting the same fate as Toys R Us?

I would guess some kind of new toy store is going to come along to replace TRU.

Not to be a Debbie downer but what keeps them from meeting the same fate as Toys R Us? Not being owned by Bain Capital?

Not to be a Debbie downer but what keeps them from meeting the same fate as Toys R Us? Not being in billions of dollars in debt from mismanagement.
