Id love for it to happen but I honestly dont expect to see anything of it. Yeah, it takes more than 7 or 8 months to open up a chain of stores, even if you have 1 or 2 in all the big cities.

It'd be cool, but who the hell knows.

Even if KB rises from the dead, one sure isn't coming anywhere near me.

This is the building of one of the old KB Toys I used to frequent in CT. It's exactly the same except for the paint and windows. It was quite unique compared to my other KBs, lol.

NO! Omg no more toy stores. Unless we see a toy store that legit keeps up with current waves of figures, I don’t need them. The internet didn’t kill toys stores, the lack of availability in products did.

Toys r us didn’t die from not keeping up. THE STORES WERE MAKING MONEY .... the problem is Bain Capital has to use any profits to pay dept. this nonupgrade in store and online upgrades. But the stores were making profits just kind of hard to get ahead when you start billions behind the curve.

The internet didn’t kill toys stores, the lack of availability in products did. Uhh buddy, KB Toys were the best toy store ever. They always had new stock. You could walk in, but a brand new series of 6, and 4 or 5 more people could do the same. It wasn’t like Walmart now where you have to fight 2 scalpers, 3 collectors, & 10 kids for a single case

No matter the store, you’ll always be “fighting scalpers”, other collectors and kids for collectibles. It’s just how things are now. Collecting has become very popular again.

Most of my Classic Superstars figures came from KB Toys. I'd like to see them come back.

I'm skeptical, but if he really owns the trademark that's a start. K.B was the G.O.A.T of toy stores, sorry Geoffrey.

Mattel is notorious for bad distribution of everything but Barbie. Walmart and Target are empty for large chunks of time. And it’s not because figures are flying off the shelves

I’m not positive how ordering works in retail/toy stores though, so I can’t say that/act like I know anything for sure.

Toys R Us going under will create a massive hole in the toy market. My only doubt is, how big of a hole? Toys aren't as in demand these days. Usually a fall in retail causes a hole and usually someone will come in and fill the hole. But since toys aren't as popular I wonder if it's a hole anyone want to step into.
