BringTheBlitz.com Fantasy Football
Think you're the sh*t? Want some real competition? Put your money where your mouth is.[/i]
There has been some expressed interest in an official BringTheBlitz.com fantasy football league, so we've decided to give the people what they want - an opportunity to join a competitive pay-league and kick the crap out of the BringTheBlitz.com staff!
The buy in will be $40 payable by PayPal or check. All payments must be made prior to draft day to prevent non-paying members. The top-4 places will pay the following:
1st place - $240
2nd place - $120
3rd place - $80
4th place - $40
Additional fees include adding and dropping of players, which will be $0.50 cents (if you drop a player and pick up one during the regular season it’s .50 for dropping + .50 for picking another player up = $1.00). Trades will also be a 1.00 but must be approved by the commissioners. The trades will not be denied unless it is an obvious attempt to stack up one team. The transaction will be used to help pay for the Fanball fee (which is $59.99 + tax). If there is not enough to pay for it, I’ll pay for the diffrence. If there is more than the cost of the Fanball fee, the remaining amount will be split up amongst the winners.
You will draft 12 players. The only rule for the rosters is that you must have a "Starting Lineup." A starting line up looks like this:
1 QB
2 RB
3 WR/TE
1 K
1 (Team) Defense
The league will be run from Fanball.com and we will have an online draft through their website. If you are unavailable for the live draft, I believe there is a system in which you can rank players for Fanball to draft for you in that order. All the results will be on there as well as the rules, they will also be posted weekly on the BTB forums.
There will be a 14-week regular season in weeks 1 through 14. The top 4 places will go to a bracket-style playoff tournament, which will be held in weeks 15 & 16 (due to the fact that many top fantasy-scorers will be sitting out in week 17).

The winners from week 15 will play one another in week 16 to determine the league champion. The losers from week 16 will also play one another in week 16 to determine 3rd place.
Scoring system:
7 points for passing TD's
1 point for every 25 passing yards
10 points for rushing and receiving TD's
1 point for every 10 yards rushing and receiving
1 point for each sack
1 point for each INT
1 point for each fumbles recovered (defense)
10 points for fumble, INT, or kick return TD's (defense)
5 points for holding a team to 10 points or below 10 (defense)
10 points for shutting a team out (defense)
2 points for safeties (defense)
3 points for a field goal 0-39 yards
4 points for a field goal 40-49 yards
5 points for a field goal 50+ yards
