Just yesterday i got a box from Ringside containing 2 more Hardy figures and an AJ Styles, today another box from Ringside came and i knew exactly who it was. Ever since i saw that Ringside got the Elite 45 Seth Rollins back in stock, i had to get it and since they had them, i decided to pick up Elite 52 & 57 Rollins. Now all i need is Seth's first singles Elite, MITB cash-in and TNF grey (And SummerSlam series but didn't pre-order just in case it happens to be another Shield Seth)
While Seth's WM33 attire isn't my all time favourite attire of his, in figure form it looks great, the attire has great detail and sculpting, the head looks better in person and the hair on it is done perfect. The detail on his top is done really well with no paint quality issues at all. The torch was also done great and overall it's a solid figure. Only issue i had was his right arm sticks out a bit, but having him posed with the torch it's fine. Posing this Seth next to the Elite 60 Triple H would look perfect.
SummerSlam 2016 Seth is an attire i really like, i started watching wrestling just as DX 2006/2007 ended with Triple H's injury, so i basically grew up on 2006/2007 WWE and i loved DX's colours which is why i always have a soft spot for anything black & green. The attire, though basic and not loaded with detail, still looks great and works really well. The headscan is... not the greatest but i can see Rollins in it and it's not that bad i guess. Putting this Seth with SummerSlam 2016 Balor would make for a cool setup but nonetheless, this Seth still looks great with the others. No issues with articulation here aside from the usual frozen ankles but that's fine.
I've always really liked this figure, i've just always wanted to have it but i never ended up buying it. But now i'm glad i finally did because WOW, i didn't think this would become one of my favourite figures. Just like the soft spot i have for black & green, i also cave into white attires, going back to guys like Edge in 2007 & 2009, Christian, Nitro/Morrison and even Cesaro, i've just always like white attires which is what makes this Seth great. The white and gold blend perfectly and Seths logo on the front was done perfectly. This is definitely my favourite Seth headscan, it looks just like Seth and captures that cocky, laughing smile he does perfectly. Giving this Seth a US title to go with the WWE title completes the figure (though he'll have to wait until i get another US title, MVP holds this US title in my 2006/2007 collection). No issues with articulation here which makes this figure even more perfect. Definitely a must get for any modern collector.
Here's a pic of this haul of Seth's, the ever growing Seth collection and this weeks gets. What a week, other than the horrible AJ Styles experience, this was a great week for my collection. Thanks for looking.
