Anyone know if he has been scanned again? His figures make him look 15years younger the man has clearly aged why aren't we getting an accurate scan.

I think his current figures just reuse older scans (His WM32 Heritage was basically ABA Taker with no decals and his latest Basics I've seen use the 2004 head)

Maybe WWE and/or Taker doesn't want his figures to look old. Back in the day, there were rumors that Hogan refused to let Jakks make his figures bald. So it'd be along those same lines.

I think that the 2004 Era scan works great. It’s what I use on my Taker.

Depending on what he looks like this year, his next figure may have longer hair, so maybe they'll do a new head for his next figure....or they'll just say f*ck it and continue to use the WM Heritage figure. Who knows with Mattel, really.

I think that the 2004 Era scan works great. It’s what I use on my Taker. Same here. His head is on the WM32 Elite body. Almost exactly what he looked like last year. There's also that one basic scan with the wild eyes that looks kinda how he did during his 2015 run.

The same reason WM24 Flair is ripped; they're idealized toys, not photorealistic maquettes. That is one excuse. Ric Flair being ripped is just laziness.

Personally, I don't have a problem with this. To be honest, I don't really want a figure of a pudgy around the middle, wrinkled Taker or balding, saggy man boobs Ric Flair or grandma flapping in the wind arms Sting. I prefer the idealized version to a realistic version. Maybe it's because I'd prefer people to picture me in my thirties before the hair loss and stomach expansion so I get wrestlers (or someone in marketing) wanting their figures to be the best possible representation of them. To me, leaving out a few wrinkles, grey hairs, or giving them a bit more muscle definition than they actually had isn't the same as blatantly using wrong parts like turning Ziggler into a super jacked muscle man or giving current Triple H more cut abs than Finn Balor.
