They could have definatley built it up better than they have but it is what it is.
I’d be dissapointed if it doesn’t lead to a match.

I cried so much last year during Undertaker's retirement. If he wrestles again, I'll feel personally let down by him and I will lose respect for one of my all-time favourites.

Undertaker has been spotted in New Orleans so something is definitely going down.

In the photos going around Twitter, it appears Taker got a haircut, or his hat is hiding his hair well. Hoping for some 2002 Big Evil vibes lol

All signs are pointing to American Badass Taker.
That was takers favorite gimmick, and I feel that’s how he wants to go out.

Undertaker shows up, pulls Cena’s bitch ass from the stand and whoops his ass, followed by a speech and set up to a match at a later date is my first deal. Who knows what wwe does...

At this point, I'm almost wondering if we're just going to get a small showdown between the two for a 'Wrestlemania moment', instead of an actual Match. I can envision Cena being a fan for the first hour of the show, entering the ring, cutting one last Promo, and out comes Undertaker, has a staredown, and delivers a tombstone etc. It just seems unfathomable that they wouldn't want to promote this Match if it was happening. How they finally get to this match is what's intriguing. They can't go on last, people could turn off or go home after Reigns vs Lesnar, and if it's a match Cena isn't sitting ringside for four hours without warming up. One thing I will say though, is it does lead even more to feel like we're getting the American Badass. Cena alluding to the fact he left his hat in the ring, but his balls at home, and not a single gong, lightning bolt, druid etc. All of the classic signs have been eliminated. I understand a lot of people are looking forward to a possible return of the Biker, but in all honesty, this is the one Match where the Deadman was needed. The image of John Cena face to face with the Deadman at a Wrestlemania. If we aren't getting a Match, and we're just getting a segment for a Wrestlemania moment, then the fans will be disappointed. They would have been better off having John Cena as the Host for Wrestlemania this year, and having the big showdown between the two that way as a huge surprise, since they aren't booking it or promoting it before the Event itself. At least that way, it would have made for a huge, unexpected and memorable moment. The way they have built to it so far has just led fans to get their hopes up for a Match between the two. As I mentioned above, I'm going to WM this year, and Cena/Taker is my final dream WM match of my era, and I think the biggest match that could be booked for a while. I agree with you that it's crazy if they had this match and not actively promoted it, but who knows. You're clever about none of the Deadman gimmicks and perhaps that'll lead to an ABA-style Undertaker, but I hate ABA so much. To me, WM 34 in New Orleans would be the PERFECT opportunity for Undertaker to have his final match and retire in the same place the streak ended. One of the biggest reasons I decided to go to WM this year was because of the chance Undertaker vs. Cena would happen, or at the very least, Undertaker would officially retire. I will be pissed beyond everything if Undertaker returns just to set up a match with Cena for next year's WrestleMania and I'm sure everyone else in attendance will feel the same way. There was some talk a few weeks ago about WWE needing a big money match for next year with Lesnar being gone, and I hope they will have Cena/Taker this year and just come up with something else/bring in another part-timer to fill that need. Don't screw us out of this match here, please. happy you got your wish!

Well I wasn't expecting that....
But I can't help but feel that they will go again at 35, and perhaps Taker's career will be on the line. Maybe Cena could win the record breaking 17th title in the match as well?
But after last night, who knows what direction we go in from here!

Looks done and dusted to me.
Explains the lack of hype and build towards a proper match.
This was a greatest hits match for Taker and served its purpose.

Undertaker can’t wrestle anymore. He’s old and broken down; that’s why he squashed Cena. Please stop chanting for him. He’s done. Went out on a win, leave it be.
