Years ago, many years ago, You guys teased an RKO statue. Then, later a 12 inch Beth Pheonix doll. Now, you have a Macho Man/Ms.Elizabeth 1:6 Scale set on display at wrestlemania axxess. I am here as a wrestling fan, a collector, and a 1/6 scale collector begging you to aid in bridging the gap between wrestling and large scale display pieces. A company known as Storm collectibles has put a small dent into this bridge with their Hulk Hogan license. To date there are two 1/6 figures for purchase with a 80’s version teased. A much larger company, Hasbro, has launched its Marvel legends line into the 12 inch universe with its Marvel Legends catalog and msrp is between $49-$69 each.
I don’t need articulation. I don’t need a million accessories. I’d even settle for non posable statues. I know there are members like myself here that have ventured into the 1/6 market and have all questioned, why aren’t wrestlers offered? Why won’t WWE license large scale figures? I think you have a market that could introduce us to a larger scale. I don’t mind it being an RSC exclusive. I just need that Macho Man. I need some 12 inch LOD. I need a 12 inch Classic Undertaker, Bret Hart, Stone Cold, Mankind, Kane.... I could go on for days.
Am I alone here?

Don’t you think 12” is too long?

I personally don’t want them any bigger. I like articulation and accessories

Provided they would also sell them in the UK, I'd be all for 1/6 scale figures (unless it had a ridiculous price tag). There's a company in the UK called Big Chief Studios who specialise in producing and selling 1/6 scale figures. They started off purely making their own, but now the majority of it's products appear to be imports of 1/6 scale figures produced by Hot Toys. I've bought some Doctor Who 1:6 scale figures off them, and they've all been around £220. Provided WWE get a company to produce the same kind of products for a similar price, I'd be all in for it. If they made non-articulated statues, that would be even better (as I don't tend to move mine after setting them up). Accessories aren't really a necessity either. I love my Ultimate Warrior Title Collection statue, and I just wish they had made a lot more characters.

Not sure “jumping the shark” applies here...

I don't understand how jumping the shark applies, but I would happily drop $200+ each on Hot Toys quality 1/6 scale figures from the 1985-1995 era. Anything more recent is a very easy pass.

I’ve always wondered what event the RKO statue is from. I feel the Orton is from Wrestlemania 27 cause I Vicky remember the white tape on his knee but Punk didn’t wear yellow.
Also a 12in AE Kane is all I want in life.

Wweshop had their own line of statues, and even at 50 percent off for five months has yet to sell its 500 limited run in what, the last two years?

I’m all for a high 1/6 line - I don’t want Marvel Legends style 12 inch. I want 1/6 Hot Toys/Storm etc.
I would be all for them releasing a series like the statue they teased a few years back. If they do it, either do it probably and go high end - or don’t bother. I don’t want something in the middle trying reach the adults, but keeping it cost friendly. Just do it right and we will pay.

6 inch figures are the perfect size in my opinion. I wouldn’t buy anything considerably bigger or smaller.

But I have some smaller ones and some bigger ones. Mostly favorites like deadpool or Harley quinn.
