I don’t even think it’s worth mentioning, but I noticed under wwe.com’s superstar section Luke Harper just goes by “Harper” and Erick Rowan just goes by “Rowan”. Like I said doesn’t really make a huge difference since everyone calls them Harper and Rowan anyways

Kinda seen this one coming. Tom Phillips has been calling them by their last names for a while.

I thought once they were repackaged as the Bludgeon Brothers, they dropped the first names?

It's been that way since they returned with the BB gimmick... Slow news day?

Yeah, and Erick Rowan is just ‘Rowan’. Been that way since they returned as The Bludgeon Brothers.

I've always called them Harper and Rowan anyway.

Ever since they started with the BB it's been like that. Old news but if you didn't know you know it now I guess.

They still call Harper “Luke Harper” on Commentary from time to time so I don’t think it really matters to be honest. I noticed that two weeks ago I believe.

At this point it doesn’t even surprise me. WWE will continue to do stupid sh*t and Vince will continue being out of touch.

its just stupid. like....you have a name, people know the name....but you change it by removing half of it. then why not just have the entire roster nobody has more than 1 name
its like they take internet lingo and turn it into the actual character, because yea we are all lazy typing on the internet and we just go "yeah i cant wait for Rollins v Balor" instead of "i cant wait to watch Seth Rollins face off with Finn Balor"

At least that sounds natural. Apollo sounds odd without Crews.

Does WWE still copyright names, so the wrestlers cant use their WWE name outside of WWE? like Justin Credible, having to wreslte as PJ Palaco at TNA's ECW show.. and if so does it cost more to copyright a longer name as opposed to a shorter one.

Wow! I thought this was pretty much known when they came in together last year as the Bludgeon Brothers??

Now it's time to change Big Cass to just Cass. Unless he's the new BIG Show 😉

Makes sense - the names "Luke" and "Erick", hardly scream "badass".

They do, yeah. It doesn’t cost more to copyright a longer name though.

I don't see the big deal really. Someone said it before, but a mononym is more intimidating than a guy's full name.
