Hi guys, do any of you happen to know what the very first ever pay-per-view collectible chair was?
Like, what event was the first time WWE ever gave away collectible chairs?
Thanks.

I don’t know about the first, but the oldest I’ve seen was wrestlemania 14.

I can find pictures as far back as Wrestlemania 12. So, at least then.

Wasn't there an old Raw Is War one from '97 with Austin in Jeans and a vest and The Raw USA ad on it?

WrestleMania X was the first time the WWE offered collectible ringside chairs: That chair is older than probably half the people on this board.

I read an article once about Vince struggling to sell tickets to an event somewhere in the 80’s (I think). He asked the person promoting the event how much the physical chairs cost, bought them all and had all the wrestlers sign the chairs. The people who bought the tickets for those seats also got to keep the chairs as a souvenir. I’m pretty sure I read it in the old British magazine Powerslam but could be wrong (old age catching up with me!).
Whilst not a PPV event chair, I always thought it was pretty sharp of Vince to do that and would be a great thing to have.

Legendary chair, thanks for the help guys. While I was the one who provided the actual answer, you are welcome. I had known this for many years now. The justification of creating a collectible chair was to commemorate the tenth anniversary of WrestleMania X. I do have fond memories of the weekend of WrestleMania X. As well as attending the Fan Festival, meeting Razor Ramon, and touching the Intercontinental Championship he had.
