That wouldn't make any sense. actually it would, would freshen AJ's character up a lot. Actually it wouldn't. They just turned Nakamura.

Not a bad show at all, but if i heard the term dual branded or co branded one more time I may have had to go on a kill spree

actually it would, would freshen AJ's character up a lot. Actually it wouldn't. They just turned Nakamura. Honestly, that would leave Bryan, Orton and Hardy as your biggest faces on SD. One literally just came back from retirement, one just came back from injury and has a question track record in decisions and the other is Orton who is semi part time. Turning AJ right now (or the foreseeable future) would be absolutely asinine.

Anyone see when a Reigns pinned Joe they showed a shot of the crowd and it was people getting up and leaving and they quickly put the camera back on reigns lol Lol. I was there and taking a good look at the arena before the main event even started a really good amount of people had left. When they started chanting Beat the Traffic a few minutes before the finish I thought to myself damn that sounds really good, so yeah as soon as the ref counted three everybody literally started for the exits.

Yeah I heard the chants. I might be going to MITB next month which could be interesting if Reigns main events since it’s in Chicago

I have tickets for Extreme Rules, and if last night is any indication of how awful PPV's are going to be built and structured with the dual brand concept, I don't know if I want to go lol

Didn’t realize Backlash took place until I looked online before bed last night. And, apparently, Backlash didn’t take place. So glad to know that I didn’t miss anything of importance. At all.

That show was all downhill after the opener. AJ/Nakamura was the best of their WWE encounters by far, but didn't even sniff the quality of Rollins/Miz, and the finish drops it at least a couple of pegs. The rest of the show ranged from barely passable to downright horrible. Take away that opener, and this is among the worst Pay-Per-Views in years. I have tickets for Extreme Rules, and if last night is any indication of how awful PPV's are going to be built and structured with the dual brand concept, I don't know if I want to go lol I think they need to be cut some slack (in terms of not expecting this to be the norm going forward) because of the hectic post Wrestlemania schedule. But, yeah, this did not sell their dual-branded concept well at all, and schedule aside, this show needed to be better than it was.

I would be willing to bet even in a meaningless match between Reigns & Joe that it will close out the show above AJ Styles and the WWE Title match. Good call on this one. But, yeah, this did not sell their dual-branded concept well at all, and schedule aside, this show needed to be better than it was. You're not wrong. Mania was a huge event and then there were all the weekly shows plus the GRR squeezed in there before Backlash. I don't blame the talent for the show. As usual, I blame the management and writing team. Because really, this show felt like every single-branded show since the split...unimportant and filler-y. That shouldn't have been the case.

Also, Carmella pinning Charlotte clean after Charlotte ended Asuka's streak not even a month ago is one of the most asinine booking decisions WWE has made in recent memory. Just horrendously awful.

I never, ever defend Chip ever. I not only am going to defend his comments on crappy booking, I'll one up them. The Bryan ending was fine. Seth and Miz was MotN as expected. But good God. This show is GAB 2008 levels of bad. Not quite December to Dismember, but that's its own special circle of hell. Just finished. Bash 2008 was better lol. Edge/HHH was solid, Jericho/HBK was good, and Matt/Shelton was decent. The lows were worse on that show. But Miz/Rollins was the only good one on here. And even that really devalued Miz and his finisher. Nakamura and Styles was passable at best. Though this show was bad, it didn't bother me as much as Battleground last year. The Orton/Jinder Punjabi prison might legitimately be the worst WWE match of the last decade, and worst ppv main event for sure, and the Flag match was also one of the worst matches of the last while, arguably the worst match of Cena's main event career. Those two matches are so bad, whereas most of Backlash was just dull. Battleground 2017 is legitimately offensive Like I said, trash.

Fantastic opener. Rest of the show, not so much, but I liked AJ vs Nakamura more than their last two matches.

I though this was a good show. Reigns vs Joe was a waste Joe needs a big win, rheyre on separate shows Joe coulda got the win and it wouldn't have hurt reigns.
Still can't stand Bobby lashley. He could walk to the moon and back and id still feel underwhelmed by him.
other than that I liked the show.
