Is it some unwritten rule that every Pittsburgh PPV has to have an Ironman match?
Nothing against Seth and Dolph, but Iron Man Matches can be hard to sit through.

Just posted something similar on Reddit. This is the third Iron Man match in Pittsburgh if I am not mistaken. 60 minutes is hard, but with the way these two can go, I feel 30 minutes is going to be incredible. I just want some more stipulations added to matches.

Just saw a commercial here in the Pittsburgh area. Lashley v. Reigns in an "Unofficially Sanctioned Match"
Also guessing we get: New Day v. Sanity Corbin v. Balor

Ah Dude, if we got SAni†Y vs New Day in a Elimination Tables Match, that'd be great.

The chances of Nakamura winning the US Title and Team Hell No winning the Tag Titles, plus Rollins/Ziggler is the only exciting things about this PPV...

Making a weekend out of it. Going to the house show the night before in Canton.

Wow, I feel bad for Balor fans!
Corbin vs. Balor just doesn't scream exciting on the main roster.... yet three years ago in NXT it would have been the main event of a live event and fans would have went nuts over it.

In my opinion, they REALLY need to utilize the 3 hours of Raw and 2 hours of SmackDown in order to make me care about this PPV. The build has been awful.

This PPV comes WAY too soon... it really lacks build-up and storytelling that somehow involve stipulations. The name of the show is EXTREME RULES for christs sake! So far the only 'extreme' match is the Raw Women's title match and an iron man match that will not involve more than a chair or a kendo stick, IF any weapon at all...

I think the most extreme thing about extreme rules will be the crowd. Hahaha.

The show is called Extreme Rules, so the matches should all be held under extreme rules, I'm just gonna assume WWE havent announced match stips cause the PPV name says it all....
let me know if im being too optimistic

when they started having tlc and hell in the cell ppvs it was the beginning of things going from really bad to horribly worse in terms of staleness.

TLC never really bothered me as a PPV concept until they started just having a single TLC match. Back when they had 4 different gimmick matches I always thought it was fun. They could incorporate one of the match types into storyline and none of them were that serious or gruelling that it felt forced (unlike numerous Hell in a Cell matches in a single night for no reason).

Should be a really good show in terms of matches. Really confused as to why Reigns/Lashley is not a No Holds Barred or Street Fight gimmick, considering the brawl on Monday. Also baffled why Sanity/New Day Tables Match is on the pre-show, but Corbin/Balor is main card?
Either way looks way better than our last PPV: Roadblock, which featured another Iron-Man match. Which brings the total of Iron-Man/Woman matches in Pittsburgh to four total (Benoit/HHH, Cena/Orton, Sasha/Charlotte, Dolph/Rollins)
