I asked my mom and she said it was most likely the Titantron Live entrance stage with a Vince McMahon figure or else a Ken Shamrock figure in 1999, she couldn't recall which she bought me first though. Never expected her to remember that much but it's pretty interesting that she did.
My last purchase was the DM Chris Jericho last December.

I'm trying hard to remember my first TRU fig but having a hard time. I got most of my Hasbros as a kid from Hills or KB. I definitely remember buying a Bossman #1 while on vacation, but I was deep into Hasbros already by then (and was surprised to see an earlier series fig still on the shelves). I keep flashing back to buying Starting Lineups at TRU when I was a little older (96-97), and then buying a ton of Simpsons and Muppets figures from there in high school/early college. Got back into wrestling a decade ago and four years ago moved within blocks of my TRU, so I had been there almost daily until the news broke. So much for my perk of living here, lol.
Last Mattels, I bought doubles of some of the lost legends -- Warrior, Taker, Magnum. I think my last ever fig though from TRU will end up being a Bernard Westworld Funko (unless I can get a Constable Zuvio for like 90 percent off on TRU's final day, lol).

I have a crap memory.
Probably a lot of things before, but I remember my dad buying me SNES for my birthday. That was a big highlight of my childhood.
Last purchase: batteries lol

I can't actually remember the exact thing I bought when I first went to Toys R Us, but it had to be something Star Wars or Spider-Man related-my two big obsessions around that time lol. The last things I bought before I found out they were closing were the boxed sets of the Marvel and WWE Nano Metalfigs.

First was swimming TMNT Donatello(they had a giant peg wall of TMNT figs back then) and I think the last was FC basic Nash.
I've been meaning to take a final trip, but they were always so low energy/low priority for me when they were in business, I hope their successors are better at keeping good things in stock and resist middlemen that come in first thing in the morning and wipe the good stuff out, or maybe do pre-orders.

Can't remember my first purchase, that was a long time ago and my parents would have purchased it. My first wrestling figure ever was WWF Hasbro Jake the Snake Roberts, got it for my birthday one year, my brother got it for me because he new how much I hated snakes. The first wrestling figure I chose to purchase (or have my parents purchase) was the WWF Hasbro Macho King Randy Savage. I received WWF Hasbro's Ultimate Warrior #2 and Rowdy Roddy Piper for Christmas that same year. Still have the same Roberts, Savage, and Piper figures to this day. Had to replace the Warrior figure because some of the fingers on his hand broke off. As for my last purchase, so far that has been lost legends Shawn Michaels, picked it up a couple weeks ago. It will probably be my last wrestling figure purchased at TRU, all of the stores around me have very little left. Sad. Hope some of the rumors are true that someone will purchase the name and rights to the store and open it up in a few years. We can only hope.

There’s no way I can remember my first TRU purchase. To be honest, I always scored big on WWE figures at Target and KB. TRU always seemed to get everything last by me.
But one that is memorable is finding the first Bubba Ray Dudley. I found D-Von and Tazz first at KB. A few weeks went by and I wasn’t able to find Bubba. One random trip to TRU and there he was. I was really happy that day.
My last WWE purchase will end up being Chainsaw Balor.

Once I was old enough to buy things for myself, toys or action figures weren't something I was into. And they pretty much still aren't besides WWE. So with that said I believe my first TRU purchase was the Nakamura POP last year. My last purchase was E41 Terry Funk.

First, there's no doubt in my mind that it was a Kenner Super Powers fig, probably Superman. I wasn't even into wrestling back then. My dad bought it for me. My first purchase with my own money might have been Hasbro 1 DiBiase (my uncle bought me Hogan first).
It's funny, because I was mostly out of collecting at 36. But the death of TRU did something to me, as I purchased a bunch of crap I didn't really need over the last 2 months...most notably the Goldberg ring..culminating with Elite Sami Zayn. Yes, I've actually used the ring several times after having not played for a long time. What's the point of being grown up if you can't be childish every once in awhile? It was a helluva ride, but without Toys R Us things will never be the same again (for me anyway).

I think my first TRU purchase was some Batman Animated Series figures in the early '90's... they had loads of figures and I must have bought about 15-20. Last purchase was the "kid's" Universal Title belt... I had a £20 credit-note, so thought I'd better use it(!).

First I remember was the early 90s X-Men Wolverine figure in yellow with the pop out claws
Last was the Black Series Vader with the Early Bird display stand for $12.
