The first would have had to be a late line LJN or early Hasbro series with my birthday money.
The last purchase was a commemorative WWE championship

Hmm. Most of my early WWE figure purchases were from KB Toys. My first TRU purchase with my own money as a kid was the MITB ladder match ring that came with Rob Van Dam and Shelton Benjamin. I also bought two Adrenaline sets that were Kane and MVP and John Cena and The Great Khail. All my birthday money that year went to that. My parents bought me a lot of the Classic Superstars from TRU for Christmas in 2006. Almost all of the WWE figures my older brother gave me in 2007 were from TRU. It's so sad seeing them go out of business. I was in there on Monday and it was pretty much empty. Bought a Hey Arnold figure set for the hell of it. Only $4. Why not?
My last WWE related TRU purchase was Elite 40 Sami Zayn. That entire wave skipped my TRU years ago, but randomly showed up last month.

First purchase I vividly remember that my parents bought me from TRU was the Ghostbusters fire house set for my 6th birthday in 1988 at the Nanuet, NY store (so many memories of visiting that store on Sundays as a kid). I'm sure there were many before that, but that's the one I distinctly remember like it was yesterday. The first purchase I made with my own money was the Sega Genesis in 1992 after saving a year's worth of allowance, Christmas and birthday money. I felt so accomplished!!
My last purchase was last Saturday at the Milford, CT store - picked up a Ren and Stimpy figurine set for 5 bucks. Pretty sweet deal.

I think the first thing my parents bought for me was maybe a ventriloquist dummy. I can't remember what the first item was I paid for. The last thing I bought was a Bobby Heenan fan central for someone that was having a hard time finding it.

Mine closed today. Made myself go, and I wish I hadn't. So empty. Even the crap...gone. no more marvel legends beetles. No more star wars zuvio. No more basic Lana. No more rusty rivets. Just...nothingness.
Forced myself to buy an outfit for my daughter from the baby section. Just to have that last memory.

I’m pretty sure my first purchase was TMNT figures. As far as wrestling goes though, I believe it was Hasbro Hulk Hogan and Big Bossman Figures. However, I didn’t fully get into collecting wrestling figures until 1996 and that’s where I purchased BCA series 1 Bret Hart, Diesel, & Razor Ramon. Wanted the others but that was all they had at the time.
My last purchase was a full set of the Fan Central Elites.

As far as I can remember, my first was a Hasbro British Bulldog.
Last wrestling related purchase was the Network Undertaker, though I got the Ken and Ryu exclusive pops last week.

I couldn't even come close to telling you what my first purchase was, but over the course of three stores, my final purchases were two New Day Funko sets (one as a prize for a game I want to run at an upcoming con, the other to keep intact as a TRU exclusive memento), a little plush Finn Balor keychain thing, a Mr. Horse plush for my wife, and a PJ Masks Romeo plush for my son.
That last one is gutting to me. My kid is 3, and every Sunday while my wife works, he and I go out and about, and now we have one less regular stop to make.

My first wrestling figure from a Toys R Us was a Hasbro Jake the Snake when series 1 first came out, and my last was a Mattel Magnum TA that I got signed a couple weeks ago. I'll have to take a picture of them together.

First - Non-figure - Star Tropics for NES Figure - WWF BCA series rerelease Diesel
Last - Non-figure - Xbox one S PubG edition Figure - Elite IRS, Umaga, Tyson Kidd, Rick Rude, Lita, Virgil, Yankem
Random TRU memory - When it was my birthday and my dad took me to the arcade, I played Mortal Kombat 2 for 15 minutes and he got tired of waiting so he took me to Toys R Us and got me The game for SNES.

I can’t remember for sure my first wrestling purchase, but I clearly remember the day my local opened-up - I went in there hoping to find wrestlers but there weren’t any at that stage, though my father bought me a Ghostbusters yo-yo, so all was good The earliest TRU wrestler purchases I remember for definite were Akeem and Andre The Giant from the first Hasbro series, but that was a store in Spain rather than my local. I know I got the Legion of Doom Hasbros in my local, but I’m sure I will have gotten others before then; I just can’t remember for sure. The last purchase was a few days before they closed my local; I visited out of respect and the sight of place was truly upsetting There were three Elite Sid figures (not sure which series, but they were “First time in the line” or something) so I decided to buy one last wrestling figure in TRU. I very likely bought my Hasbro Sid Justice in the same store 25 years ago, but either way Sid is from my generation of fandom so I was happy he could be my last TRU purchase. I sort of regret not getting the remaining two as well so I could know for sure that I was the last one to buy a wrestling figure at that TRU, but meh, I probably still was the last one. My happiest wrestling figure memory as a kid was in my local TRU: the moment I walked round the corner of the aisle and saw a group of people gathered around a wall of beautiful yellow - the first time I’d seen the series 7 Hasbro yellow card figures I had no idea they were changing to colour-coding the cards, so seeing all the figures I’d studied in the WWF magazine for months in person at last in front of me, glowing in their yellow splender is still a wonderful memory to have RIP old friend
