I hate to cite it as a source, but a poster in a Mattel Facebook group last night had some positive comments about what to expect out of Retros at SDCC. I can’t speak to the poster’s credibility but it didn’t look like any of the posters that responded questioned him.
He basically shared that new Retros WILL be shown at SDCC and that they will make “both collectors and kids happy”.
Could be someone just trying to stir the pot. I’ll take any info at this point! Haha

I'd be fine with them doing 6 figures per wave to mirror the last few series that Hasbro did (series 6, 7, 8, and 9 all released six figures per wave). They should do what they did in the first wave of the Mattel retro's, 4 current guys 2 legends, that way kids will buy enough of the current guys to keep this line going and collectors can still get the guys they want. Also, get rid of the app thing and put the figure price back down to $9.99 (or lower) - I can see a parent passing on these if the price is higher or equal to basics, but I think they would have no problems picking these up for their kids if they were cheaper. Mattel... hire this guy. Deal! What's the pay...

That's cool, we haven't received a Warrior in orange (mattel retros or hasbros). Is the body style still the same or did they create a new one? it was a jumper style body same with nevil in nxt attire and shawn had red pants and the nakamura body with kick style ryback was like a old Mr prefect style body These were customs. Not Mattel.

Haha I hope that's true. I feel this should be a line geared more towards the collectors and people who just want to relive their nostalgic Hasbro youth. Kids have the basics which are (gasp) better 'toys' for sure. And no doubt most are already invested in that type of figure. Not fruity looking plastic early 90's style figures. Mattel risk alienating the collectors if they continue to produce new guy after new guy, and the app stuff (with price increase) is a joke. There was so much positivity around this line when announced, I was ecstatic. It's sad that a lot of that has been lost with poor figure choices. Series 2 was just sensational though to be fair.
