Looking for a definitive Macho Man figure from his WWF days. I know the original legends 5 version is probably the best but it is going for alot these days. Is the Defining Moments figure the next best?

It wholly depends on the era you’re going for. I think L5 is the best heel in trunks look. HOF is the best Macho King, WM6 is the best cowboy hat look.
...aw hell, they’re all amazing...

Which one? The original DM based of WrestleMania XII or the relaunch based of WrestleMania III? Yes to both although the WrestleMania III figure is in the wrong shade of pink on the trunks. The WrestleMania XII figure doesn’t have his shirt and if my memory serves me he also doesn’t have the wrist gauntlets. But I am a Macho in trunks guy so while I like the WrestleMania III trunks version more. My favorite Macho Man followed by the All-Stars figure. But both DM figures are worth it.

The WM3 DM is the best. The Legends was my favorite but the robe with the DM makes it the better figure.

Both DMs are definitive Macho Man figures. I know the WM III is the best 80s Macho they made though Legends 5 is good.

My only complaint with the Defining Moments figure is that it didn’t come with the IC title belt, even though Savage is pictured with it on the box. Otherwise I love it.

Toss up between mania 7 and mania 3 for me. Both capture macho so well.

For me its either the DM Macho King from WM7 or the Ringside Collectibles exclusive Macho King from Survivor Series 89 (I like this one because it resembles my favorite figure of his from the Hasbro series).

For my money WM7 Macho Man is the greatest wrestling figure of all-time. But you can't go wrong with WM3 or the Legends Orange Trunks version as far as definitive Machos go either.

80s Macho- DM Wm 3. cheaper then L5 and includes nice robe. Alternative is L5 has with iconic shirt and bandana.
Early 90s Macho King- DM Wm 7 with tassels on jacket and cowboy hat OR HOF to me this what I think of most looking back with bright neon pants and glasses.
So it’s tough because he had so many memorable looks

Sorry I had forgotten that there were 2 DM Macho man figures. I was refering to the latest WMIII version. Also a fan of Macho in trunks too. If i was going to go for a tights version I would probably get the HOF figure.

For me, any figure with the smiling headscan is his best figure.
I hate the straight faced headscan. Mainly because of the moldy looking hair... it just doesn't represent the Macho Man for me.
I'd argue if you headswapped the smiling headscan onto ANY of his figures, you could make an argument that it's his best figure. It depends what version of Macho you prefer. For me, I loved the Neon Cowboy era.

L5 represents Wrestlemania IV 1988 era face Macho though (I believe the All Star figure does too). I believe it's a toss up between what you mentioned Survivor Series '89 RSC figure, DM 1 and his second DM. Heck his HOF attire could be thrown in as well and it's a photo finish

WrestleMania VII tops them all, but the WrestleMania III is a very close 2nd 👍🏻
