Who else hates basics now?
It's not even the non-existent articulation.
The big problem I have is the fact the last 3 I have bought won't even stand.
I'm now 100% elite collector only. Well my last ever will be summerslam shane.
Also does anyone know if there's any way these crappy figures can be sorted?
Thanks.

I hate basics too. Only new ones I’ve gotten are angle ss basics and graves. Funny thing is both have ankle articulation

I never cared for Basics.
I bought the female basics but now I can’t even do that. Elites are all I care for.

Only really use them for cheap alternative for parts or headswaps on elites.
With a few exceptions; suited figures a la green m$m

Just good for head swaps these days. With very few exceptions.

I have quite a few I like but I'm not too picky either.

I'm not a fan of them either. I've got a few tho and no room for all my figures on display so kinda annoys me they on display while others aren't as they won't stand up any other way

I rarely buy a basic. I have maybe 2 or 3. They were never my thing.

No one cares. Just don’t buy them and stop complaining funny, i remember a certain someone complaining about a "half naked woman" in a person's signature...
but while we're on the topic at hand, i'm not so fond of the basics either; before the articulation change; it was a "either or" situation regarding them, now-a-days they're easy passes because of it

Except for the GM Angle I haven’t purchased any Basics in street clothes/suits since they removed the ankle articulation. But the ones I have purchased Balor, SummerSlam Flair & Rollins all stand fine including the suited Angle.
The only thing about the basics I don’t like now is that they removed the ankle joints. Not because the figures don’t stand, but because they removed it. If they started with no ankles back in ‘10 it wouldn’t be an issue for me, but to remove it 8 years later pisses me off because I feel like I am now paying the same for less.
That said as long as they keep marking wrestlers I like I will keep buying them, because Basic or Elites they both look just as good displayed on my shelves.
I will say that I passed on the two BP with Foley and DB in them, because there were many reports here of those two not being able to stand. And I did want both those figures initially.

I never really cared for them due to the limited articulation and cheap decisions made like figures with tights and having trunks painted on. However, I would buy the occasional basic to swap arms which I now can't do. So, they're useless to me now.

No one cares. Just don’t buy them and stop complaining So I'm not allowed to discuss issues I have with a product, bearing in mind it fails to serve its primary purpose? Ok then, I'll bear that in mind the next time someone feels the need to be a smart-arse.

The one's I had a problem with were the battle pack hardyz and foley that comes with stephanie. I'll pick up ss shane to mark the end of an era.

I have zero issues with basics. I have several that compliment my collection. The basic Ultimate Warrior figures are just as good as the elite. Every BAF Fink figure was great. The suited figures are just fine as basics and don’t feel the elite articulation is needed and that upcoming Flair is a beauty. The TNF XPac is better than any of the other 3 Waltman figures made.

TNF X-Pac is legitimately one of my top 5 favorite figures in my collection. Personally I really like many of the basics I own. While the added accessories are nice (and essential for some figures), there are some great basic figures. And the added cost savings is nice from time to time. I couldn't see paying $20 for a Sid Justice or female figures, but as a basic they were easy decisions to buy for me.

Me too. Unless suited like the new Walmart flair or the Walmart million dollar man.
