Talk about a complete f*cking meltdown. Today was "Let The Retards Pitch" day at Jacob's Field. Jake Westbrook, then Cliff Lee out of the 'pen. Made the Chicago White Sox look like the 2005 Chicago White Sox. Horrible. Horrid.
When is Cleveland going to realize that Cliff Lee, no matter what he did in one or two games, is not a good pitcher, and they'd have been better bringing a new pitcher up from Buffalo when the rosters expanded? Plus, they think he'd be better out of the bullpen? I mean, the guy doesn't get people out early, late, and barely ever. He doesn't even deserve a spot on the roster, especially with his pissy attitude now that he has been demoted.

Unless the Mariners sweep the Yankees, it is virtually 100% certain the Sox/Yanks will be in the playoffs.
Stupid Mariners.

why do you say that

Because the Mariners suck and will lay down to the Yankees, thus giving the Yankees the WC and the Sox the East, unless the Tigers wake up, but I doubt it

Detroit will be 2GB in the WC if they hold on to beat the A's today. They also have Sheffield and Kenny Rogers coming back.

Oh man, Asia's gonna be pissed. Astros were up 5-1, then the Cubs slowly came back to win.

this is pretty awesome, my brother does the score for NESN sometimes, and today he got the call. he said he was in the park while the sox were taking BP before the gates opened up, and he got me a ball that was hit into the stands.

Tigers blew a 7-2 lead against the As and lost in extra innings. I thought they were roaring.
