Probably not a large audience here for NASCAR games, but 704Games' NASCAR Heat 3 releases this week, 7 September 2018. Featuring the Hendrick Motorsports stable on the cover; Chase Elliott [#9 NAPA Camaro], William Byron [#24 Axalta Camaro], Jimmie Johnson [#48 Lowe's Camaro], and Alex Bowman [#88 Nationwide Camaro]. The game takes the improvements that Heat 2 made on Heat Evolution, and steps them up a notch. Included in this year's entry is the fantasy startup Xtreme Dirt Tour. 8 fantasy dirt tracks, including a dirt surface at some of the well-known regular NASCAR circuits such as Bristol Motor Speedway, Texas Motor Speedway, and others. When you start career mode as a driver, you'll start in the Xtreme Dirt Tour to get eyes on you as a driver. Then you will progress through the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, to the NASCAR Xfinity Series, and finally to the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. A first time in this year's game too, is Owner mode. You can own a race team, and build a new racing empire from the ground up. The 40 car online multiplayer is back, and this year, there will be online tournaments too.
NASCAR Heat 3 will retail for $49.99, and release on 7 September 2018, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam. Returning from NH2 is the ticket promotion. Each physical copy of NASCAR Heat 3 will come with a $50 voucher for a ticket to be used at one of 8 Speedway Motorsports Inc.-owned tracks, expanded to also include Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and Dover International Speedway. Race tickets start at right around $50, so it's basically including a free race ticket that you can use at one of ten tracks throughout 2019.
