I heard Crown Jewel is now gonna be at the old ECW Arena in Philadelphia now!
ECW! ECW! ECW!
Nah, I am kidding. But honestly, I rather it be in the ECW Arena in front of 1000 fans that respect both men AND women wrestlers.

Looks like they’re making the right decision. For now. Once the publicity goes away they'll probably be back.

Not gonna be fair to punish the wrestlers for something out of their control, Although I will understand if they move it to another location if they choose to for the safety of their superstars, maybe do Australia again?? For them to do Australia so soon would take a miracle. Their best bet would be the states, Canada, maybe England. With a show name already set as "Crown Jewel", London sounds like a great place to move the show to if they can get a venue on such short notice.

Doesn’t look like they’re pulling it. WWE announced that the event is still on and they added more matches for the tournament on Raw.
Vince, do the right thing for once. You’re risking sponsors and your image for a quick payday. Why you would still do business with country like that, especially what’s happened over the past few weeks, is bat sh*t crazy.

I HONESTLY think Vince could try to move this to Wembley and sell it out.

Gotta be mindful of the wording these companies use these days...
The event is still on Doesn’t necessarily mean it’s still in Saudi Arabia 😒

I don't know if Kane has higher political aspirations, but if I were him, I wouldn't go. While I doubt performing there would cost him an election, why give a potential opponent a negative talking point that you will have to defend? Well he was born in Spain so he can’t run for President. He can run for Governor not sure about Senate though. Only the President and VP have to be a natural born citizens. There's a lot of technicalities with natural born though. There were questions about both John McCain and Ted Cruz being able to run because of where they were born as well. Since Kane was born on an Air Force base to (I'm assuming) parents who were already US citizens, then he should/would/could be covered. Also, they could have filed a CRBA which would count as proof of US citizenship. Of course, he may not even want to run for an office that high, so the point may be moot.

They continued airing the show after Owen Hart, this will be a cake walk for WWE. It's not getting cancelled and rightfully so. If they stopped what they were doing every time some SJW deemed it "immoral" they'd be broke and out of business. I say make that money, and leave all that irrelevant business to the birds. You seriously don't get it do you? This has Jack sh*t to do with "SJW"s and that bullsh*t, this has to do with the person they are sitting there sucking up to in the whole show, the prince, talking about ALL he's done well, just had his thugs MURDER...BRUTALLY...mutilating and dismembering with bonesaws... a journalist who made a slight at him...and it wasn't that big a slight. This guy is turning out to be a brutal, bloodthirsty dictator. But yeah, it's just a SJW thing. When your roster of performers are really afraid of going over and doing this gig, MAYBE it's time you take a moment to think about what this means. But no, I don't expect WWE or Vince to do the right thing. A LOT of BIG companies and promotions are pulling out of that country. Yeah I doubt he cares. Welcome to the world, its a brutal and unforgiving place. I've been all over the earth for my country. It just is what it is.

Hell, if WWE hasn't pulled out now, then they should go ahead and hold the d*mn thing. If they are unwilling to put human decency and morality ahead of profit, they're showing what kind of "people" they are. Wrestling with this decision for this long and only changing their plans if public, political, and financial sentiment forces them to, and acting like they made some major decision for the greater good earns no brownie points from me.

Just heard that the Saudi government's official statement on the matter will be that the journalist was "accidentally" killed during a routine kidnapping and interrogation.
That will give you plenty of cover, won't it Vince?

If WWE Doesn't cancel this show, it'll further prove how garbage Pro Wrestling industry is.

If WWE Doesn't cancel this show, I hope the company goes bankrupt. I'm firmly on the side of them not moving forward with the show, but the prospect of that being the final straw that leads them down the slope of bankruptcy is sort of laughable. We're talking about a ~10 year deal involving deep, deep Saudi pockets, paired with a fan base that, in spite of what the internet would have one believe, isn't going to be particularly swayed one way or the other by the company's place among the international theater. I mean, even I'm not going to cancel my sub over it, and I led right off by saying I think they're in the wrong. People to the left and the right of me not even paying attention? Forget it.
