So we got a nice teaser that we will finally get a retro Diesel and haven’t seen a proto yet. And the series with HBk,Sheamus,y2j,and Angle was list from October to January. I’m going crazy over here with the lack of new retros, I don’t know why these don’t just go to online and be done with it.

Yep, I remember Retros. The last ones I bought were series 3 from RSC, I think it may have been December?

It's Mattel we're talking about so the most likely outcome is the Retro line will be cancelled right before the wave with Diesel is expected and it never even sees the light of day.

Yeah, it was cool to get Macho and Flair, now it seems were waiting forever for anything really cool, assuming Diesel and Goldust indeed do get announced soon. I ordered Angle, but that's not until January at this point.
Just ordered customs of the Allied Powers though.

I never saw the appeal in them. I got into wrestling once WWE was switching over to Jakks, so I never got a chance to own any of the Hasbros figures. But looking back at them, I'm still not interested in them today, and I have no interest in the current Retro figures.

Yes def big time. But on the plus side, with stores not putting any new ones on shelves I can get some rest not having to run around or feel like I'm missing out if I'm not checking for them. Everything is probably gonna be the same two months from now as it was the last week that I checked lol. It's tough because it's an Elite world being that those and the basics are the main line. So with the Retros being a niche for us nostalgic collectors we all have to sort of be on an island to ourselves with the scarcity thing lol. I stopped with collecting a long while back and the Retro line and the Jada Toys Nano Metalfigs are what helped bring me back for the time being.

I’d love some consistency in the release of information - something like: -Suppliers informed of forthcoming wave x; rumours start to circulate based on that. -One week later: Official announcement of wave x line-up with release date -One month later: Loose photos of wave x published online, or figures appear at a convention -Two weeks later: MOC photos of wave x -Two weeks later: Wave x released online (Ringside, Amazon, the UK websites, etc.) -Two weeks later: supplier rumours of wave y start (and the cycle starts again with the same timeframe) ... -6 months later: wave x appears at a single Target somewhere in the US Whatever the actual timing, I’d just like to have some idea when we will learn something new - for us now we’ve not seen or heard anything since Comic-Con I think (?) and that was back in July. With the delay of the next wave putting them back to January then I’m not expecting to hear much new for a while yet.

Seems pretty much par for the Hollywood Hogan course. Diesel should have been in the very first wave. No excuses to be 8 waves deep and we’re still waiting on him.

Every time I check the aisle at Target it’s just a bunch of Rollins, Ambrose, and Goldberg. Not selling at all

Withdrawal? Nope.
I’m still waiting for series four to show at retail. If anything the lack of these coming out has made me more likely to go online or to some stores in my area to pick up actual WWF Hasbros I need for my collection.

Everywhere around me, the majority ive even seen (Gamestop, Target, all 10 or so Walmart's I frequent) have been put on clearance, and are still barely moving.
Which can't be a good sign....
The only positive is I've had no problems finding any of the figures I've wanted from this line.

I definitely am but I’m glad they pushed back series 7. They need to get distribution fixed and get some consistency between when figures are released online and in stores. Currently they are available online months before they are in stores which is creating shelf warmer issues.

I didn't have them as a kid, but what I can say is that if they did a retro line of bone-crunchers I wouldn't get those either. I want figures to be the best and most lifelike versions I can get, so I'll never really be on board with stylized or retro toys.

Been having withdrawals since series 3 hit. I have money, I want these toys, why won't any stores near me stock the toys so I can give them my money?

I’m having withdrawals from Wal-Mart carrying them, when they were readily available. Series 6 showed up at K-Mart and all the K-Marts around me permanently closed. 😡

It’s a niche product. I fully expect them to be canceled soon. This is exactly how the legends line ended. Quietly after there were no new series for several months
