Really good game but too bad there is controversy with that last play. Phillies-Rockies should be good, hopefully the Phils can pull it out.

I thought it looked like three indents of fingers were up against the side of homeplate,
but it's all over now, so it doesn't matter. I still think Colorado would have pulled it out during that late rally, so I don't see any controversy going down.

Though I'm not a Rockies fan, I'm happy for my city right now. Lots of people have hung with this team since the beginning, and now they have something to be happy about.
Here's to a Cubs/Rockies NLCS.

weird end to that game.....he never got home plate, NEVER touched it....and the ump just stands there like "uhhhh" and then signals safe while the guy just lays there.

and by the way....what is with Don Orsillo, the RED SOX announcer, doing the commentary for this game on TBS?
If he calls the Yankees postseason games on TBS I'm going to cut off my penis and put it in the microwave and then commit suicide by jumping in front of a train.
I do NOT want to listen to that guy call MY postseason games...let him call the Red Sox games....but if that is the case then we should be able to have Joe Girardi, Al Lieter and Michael Kay call our games.
I'm sorry but I think thats bull crap.

I don't care....I didn't spend 6 miserable months watching the Yankees tank and then come back and until last week not knowing if they were even going to make the Playoffs or not only to end up having our Playoff games called by a Red Sox patsy.
You know he'd love to see the Yankees get knocked out, so I hope they have him call the Red Sox games only. But then like I said, if the Red Sox get their announcer in the Playoffs, then we should at least get one too.
I hate all the announcers except the YES Network ones. Joe Buck is ok. I hate Tim McCarver.
Michael Kay is actually good. For all the crap you guys give him, he calls the game the same way if the Yankees are winning or losing and he makes calls with the same enthusiasm for both teams. He may be stupid, but at least he doesn't sit there and blatantly root for the Yankees, in fact on his ESPN radio show he does nothing but BASH the Yankees and all their weaknesses. But during the game he calls it right down the middle.
The Red Sox announcers act bored when the other team scores and then jerk off when Coco Crisp draws a walk.

Lorenzo I think you make this whole thread root against the Yankees, even some of the Yankee fans.

It's not "our" unless you actually work for the organization or maybe if you've worked for them in the past.

Trust me....to all the Yankee fans that suffered through 162 games...we earned it just as much. We didn't start out like the Red Sox with a 14.5 game lead and have a cushion to piss away....we had to fight and claw and every game was a struggle and every loss could have been the one that finally killed the season...and it is tough to watch games with that much stress and pressure on the line. I watched all those games, I suffered all year...these Playoff games belong to me and every other Yankee fan who watched all the games.

He is commentating the NL games, calm the hell down, this isnt the JFK conspiracy. MLB asked him, cuz he does not suck as much as others, deal with it.
