They are in luck if they want to reopen in Australia, my local store’s building has just sat there since it closed, signs still up and all.

I’ve said in other threads, 91% of retail still happens in brick and mortar stores. You could see everyone rushing to get a piece of the market share Toys R Us left behind from Party City and Wal Mart/Target to KB trying to come back, but none carry the weight of the TRU name. The KB Toys comeback appears to be on ice. Stores should have been opened by now for the holiday season. I knew I would never see a KB Toys ever again. Its only Nov 3rd... there is still time for the stores to open / set up. The TRU express pop up stores we used to get werent open in our area till mid / late Nov.

If they come back they should have smaller stores and also just stick to toys, at least in the UK no one really want to TRU for video games because they were too expensive. Just have a smaller store with toys it means you can't over order as much as they did and keep the shelves full
