The SVR 2011 CAW Figure Contest Mystery

So i found something quite interesting, apparently back in 2010, THQ And Mattel were holding a contest, the contest would take caws submitted by people and the winner would get their CAW made into an action figure by Mattel, i was quite interested by this, so i decided to find out some stuff about this and solve the mystery, here is a link to the contest rules

so right here the rules say 

1.Make an original CAW
2.Take a screenshot of your original CAW using the highlight real feature in SvR 2011. (Notice "reel" is misspelled)
3.Go online through SVR 2011 Upload your caw to the Community Creations
4.You need to go the THQ SVR 2011 Community site (the links on the page don't work anymore) and pretty much just how to enter

there is also a video there which is Unavailable now

But then i thought, these links don't work anymore, but there is the Internet Wayback Machine, so i put the link of the Communti Site into it, but the Archives of the site were either before the Contest or after the contest

so i went into a dead end until i saw there was a "Enter Now link" on the Caws.ws website, so i put that into the wayback machine, and luckily enough, there was one Archive of it, from November 21st 2010 luckily is was when they were taking entries

ContestEveryone has had a "favorite action figure" they cherish, but nobody can say they've ever had their SmackDown vs Raw Superstar Creation brought to life from their wild imagination in-game, and jump off the television screen in to the palm of their hand as a real collectible. WWE fans, we are making that dream a reality in our Create-A-Superstar Contest, courtesy of Mattel and their WWE Elite Collection.



One of you will have your SmackDown vs Raw 2011 Created Superstar brought to life as a one-of-a-kind action figure. It will be the only one ever made, the rarest of action figures, built to the very last custom detail of your unique Created Superstar from SmackDown vs Raw 2011! The winner will be selected by our development team, and who knows what your creation may inspire.



Entries will be judged and based on the following criteria: Creativity, Awesomeness, and Originality. The development team will select their favorite to declare the Grand Prize Winner. All entries must be submitted by December 18th.



2nd and 3rd place winners will receive a $25 merchandise gift certificate to WWEShop, but the Grand Prize winner will be etched in the history books of WWE as the only person on earth to have an official Mattel action figure built of their SmackDown vs Raw 2011 Created Superstar.



Creating a Superstar in SmackDown vs Raw 2011 is as easy and creative as you want it to be with the suite of in-game tools, and entering this contest is even easier, see below.

Thats what it says, so whoever won would get a One Of A Kind action figure of their CAW, in a Elite (which was one of my questions if it would be a Basic or an Elite) the "Rarest of figures", and the entries would of depended on your Creativity, Awesomeness and Originality (which means you couldn't just make Owen Hart or Chris Benoit), 2nd and 3rd place winners would win a 25 Dollar gift card to WWEShop, 

and this was how to enter

1.Use the Create-A-Superstar feature in-game to create your unique Superstar. The tools in-game allow you to flex your creative muscle to its wildest imagination.

2.Play as your Created Superstar in any match. Hit pause during the match at any time, click Highlight Reel, and save a video clip of any moment from the previous 30 seconds 3.from the point you paused. If you play a match through, the game will automatically generate your "best highlights", of which you can save any to the Highlight Reel as well.

4.Go to Highlight Reel from the Main menu, select any saved clip featuring your Created Superstar.

5.Use the free form camera to position your Created Superstar screenshot at the desired angle. We strongly recommend full body profiles.

6.Save the screenshot and upload to Community Creations from the Highlight Reel.

7.Login or Join our Smackdown vs Raw website right here and make sure your account has been linked.

8.On this contest page, you should then see your screenshot uploads from Community Creations.

9.Select the image you'd like to enter! You can modify any time during the contest period.

And thats all i found

So we now some of the questions answered but theres still many left like ,Who Won? did the person who win even post a picture on the internet? another thing to remember is this was Almost 8 Years Ago, so would the person who won even still have it? another question is, Did the contest even happen in the first place? cause if you go on the Caws.Ws link again, it says at the top "First round of voting to start soon, GET READY!" so just the first round? no update on the Other rounds? so thats a big concern

The entries were submitted from November 18th 2010 to December 18th 2010, 

So then i found the "Rules" page, and most of the rules were just things already mentioned, but 3 of them caught my eye caught my eye, the 3rd, the 9th and the 10th rules

3. Judging and Winner Notification. Entries will be judged by a panel of qualified judges selected by Sponsors (the "Judging Panel"). Each entry will receive a score based on following criteria: creativity – up to 60 points, "awesomeness" – up to 10 points, and originality – up to 30 points. The entrant submitting the Entry receiving the highest score will be deemed the Grand Prize Winner, subject to confirmation in accordance with these Official Rules. The finalist Entry with the second and third highest scores, as determined by the judges in their sole discretion, will be declared the First Prize Winners (subject to confirmation in accordance with these Official Rules). All prize awards are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with the terms of these Official Rules. Grand Prize and First Prize Winners are collectively referred to herein as "winners". In the event of a tie, winner(s) will be determined based on highest score for creativity. In the event of a further tie, the Entry involved in the tie having the score for awesomeness will be deemed the winner. Sponsors reserve the right to not award all prizes if, in its sole discretion, it does not receive a sufficient number of eligible and qualified Entries. Judges' and Sponsors' decisions are final and binding on all matters.



A prize won by a Minor (as defined below), will be awarded in the name of their parent or legal guardian. Winners (and Winner's parent/legal guardian, if a Winner is a Minor) will be notified by email on approximately January 3, 2011. Winners may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, and, where lawful, a publicity release, within fourteen (14) days of the date of issuance or prize will be forfeited. If a selected prize winner cannot be reached within ten (10) days following the initial notification attempt, is found to be not in compliance with these Official Rules, fails to timely return the requisite documents in a timely manner, or if the prize notification or prize is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor's discretion, awarded to the entrant receiving the next highest score, subject to confirmation in accordance with these Official Rules.

9. Use of Winner's Name and Likeness. Except where legally prohibited, each winner grants permission for Sponsors and those acting under their authority to use his/her name, photograph, voice and/or likeness, for advertising and/or publicity purposes in any and all media at the discretion of Sponsors without consent or additional compensation.

10. Winners List. A list of Winners will be posted and available on the Site for a period of thirty (30) days following confirmation of the winners.

So the "Judges" were decided by The Sponsors, Those being THQ And WWE, and the use the winners name and likeness, each winner would grant permission for the Sponsors for them to user his or her name, photograph, voice or Likeness for advertising, but did they if there even a winner? 

And the winner was decided on January 3rd 2011, and that's all i could find

So we now know all the rules and conditions of the Contest, but we still don't know who won and the figure recieved
